    Choose target creature you control, and target creature you don't control. Put a +1/+1 counter on the creature you control if its converted mana cost is greater than the converted mana cost of the creature you don't control. The creature you control fights the creature you don't control.

    Spirit of the woods gets +5/+5 and trample as long as it's attacking.

    I'm not gonna use old Alara mechanics for each of these designs, but I want to make a design for each of the shards confluence, in a mono-color. Additionally, the mana costs aren't really final, just going with four as a safe middle of the road idea.

    Feral Leotau 2GG
    Creature - Cat
    Devour 1, Trample
    At the beginning of combat on your turn, creatures you control with power 5 or greater gain exalted until end of turn.
    When it ate its knight, the sigils still protected it. When it found more lost beasts, the sigils protected them all.

    Moltenscale Viashino 2RR
    Creature - Lizard Shaman
    Whenever a creature with power 5 or greater dies, Moltenscale Viashino deals 4 damage to any target.
    Whenever another non-token creature enters the battlefield under your control, if it entered from the graveyard, or if you cast it from your graveyard, ~ deals damage equal to that creature's power to target creature.
    While the god-beasts fell, he learned how to harness their power. When they rose again, he harnessed that as well.

    Artifact Creature - Human Wizard
    Whenever an artifact is put into your graveyard from the battlefield, choose another target creature card in your graveyard with converted mana cost less than or equal to the artifact's. Until end of turn, you may cast that creature card.
    BB, sacrifice an artifact or creature: Target creature gets -x/-x until end of turn, where X is the sacrificed permanent's converted mana cost
    When death closed in around him, he gave up what he didn't need. When death closed in around his enemies, he retrieved what he wanted.

    Whenever a creature you control attacks alone, you may sacrifice an artifact. If you do, attacking creatures you control get +2/+0 until end of turn, and you draw a card.
    At the beginning of each end step, if you drew a card this turn, you may return target creature card with cmc X or less from your graveyard to your hand, where X is the amount of cards you drew this turn.
    When she learned of the power, she studied all she could. When she learned what it could do, she taught others all she could.

    I like designing green cards, so let's finish off the multi-set-cycle of riddle of lightning, judge unworthy, interpret the signs of instants and sorceries based on revealing the top card of your library after a scry 3. I know that technically Sifter worm is similar, but shhhhh.

    Wisdom of the oaks 4G
    Sorcery
    Scry 3, then reveal the top card of your library. Distribute X +1/+1 counters among creatures you control, where X is that card's converted mana cost.

    Demonic Augry 3BB
    Sorcery
    Choose target creature. Scry 3, then reveal the top card of your library. That creature's controller loses X life, where X is the revealed card's converted mana cost. Destroy that creature if its converted mana cost is less than the revealed card's converted mana cost

    The greatest service a soldier can do for the sun empire is find new land to conquer.

    Please note that if I were designing this set, the militarism wouldn't be the biggest theme, but it'd be there. I'd also probably have a decent mechanic based on farming as well.

    When The Grand Festival enters the battlefield, exile all cards from all graveyards.
    Whenever a player casts a spell with the same name as a card in a graveyard, this enchantment deals X damage to them, where X is that spell's converted mana cost.
    Originality is prized


    Next: Do the M19 Horse cycle, but each horse is moved to the color it is hating (EG: Vine Mare becomes a black card that hates on green.)

    Using cards like Kederekt Parasite, Firebrand Archer, and Thermo-alchemist, do you think a modern infect storm deck could work? Using cards like Tainted Strike, Phyresis, and glistening oil, and casting a bunch of spells, or making your opponent draw lots of cards in the case of the parasite, do you think this could work? Deck full of manamorphose or cantrip effects?

    | - Look at the top 4 cards of your library. You may reveal a creature card from among them. If it's converted mana cost is 4 or less, you may put it onto the battlefield, otherwise put it into your hand, then put the rest of the cards on the bottom of your library in any order.
    || - Exile target creature an opponent controls.
    ||| - Create 5 treasure tokens with (insert treasure text here), then return a creature you control to its owner's hand.

    The Saga being told here is the one from the episode of Firefly where Jayne saved a town by dropping a bunch of money on the mudders. The first ability might be a little bit of a bend in white, but with the bugler, I think it can work. Plus, it's actually based on a real saga from within a show.
