EDIT: What's really sad, is that the proxy isn't even done that well. You can see he cut the corners poorly, and in the bottom right, it is obviously misaligned.
It's already confusing enough. There are no fewer than 3 takes on what "PDH" means that I'm aware of. It would almost be worth it to have a code for what can be in your deck, but that would be just as confusing.
For instance, some people will still play with any Legendary as their general, or only an Uncommon Legendary, or only a Common Legendary, or just any Uncommon or any Common. Then there are the strict restraints on the deck of only cards printed as Commons, but then some people like to allow up to X Uncommons.
Besides all that, EDH was called that because at its roots, Elder Dragons were used as the generals. What is "Elder" about PDH/EPH? I think the Highlander should definitely stay in, since that has hard connections to the game and its roots.
I will be posting my own spitfire deck once I've play tested it. Mine is pretty different in the support area. I had more focus on making my creatures unblockable. I'll have to try Skyblinder Staff, seems good for this deck.
Well, I've only been playing Pauper for a few weeks now, but I am having a great time with it. So far, it's seemed like 3 vs. 1 so much, because ZombieShakes, trancer99, and myself play Pauper, and the 4th guy plays some kind of power deck (not utterly broken, mind you, just consistant large threats). As soon as one player gets killed off (usually the non-Pauper), it becomes much more cut-throat.
In general, for Pauper vs. non-pauper, I think people have a huge misconception. Pauper can be very powerful against normal EDH decks because, as I feel, it requires more thoughtful deck creation through synergies in the deck. This would be vice how many EDH decks are (this just rough math) 35% land, 35% rares that work with the deck, and 30% good stuff. Commons are commons because they are slower or less overwhelming. So it takes a few more turns for the game to take off (IMO good, EDH should take 2 - 3 hours). Being less overwhelming means that politics are more in your favor. You're never a HUGE threat, but a threat nonetheless.
Being a slower format, the color balance of power changes. Blue is still really good, but now green is so much better from ramp, because many good green ramps spells happen to be common. Black has its tutors still, white has more expensive, but still good hate. Red has some sneaky tricks to kill you before you realize what happened.
As for your next commander, sort your commons and uncommons. If you look at the commons in new light, you'll be surprised to find that it could be something awesome.
I would also encourage you to start your deck from only cards already in your collection. Even though a deck can just cost 20 bucks, why even spend that much?
PS - I don't condone Ghostly Flicker, it's a silly card j/k
I've made a number of changes to make the deck more resilient. I've also gone back to having two commanders. Rhys the Redeemed for playing against normal EDH broken decks, and Vitu-Ghazi Guildmage for playing against Pauper decks. Rhys is just to broken and to much of a target to make it worth playing in a Pauper environment. I'm not, however, maintaining two lists(way to much work, for a game ;))
I swapped out Horned Helm for Luminescent Rain because the helm does nothing, and I am usually clinging to my life total just before going for the final kill. Hopefully, it will put me in a better position just before the game ends.
Manabase Crafter is what I normally use for making a manabase for EDH/Commander. It, however, doesn't care what the rarity of a card is. Is there another list somewhere that is already compiled? Would it be worth it to do such a compilation?
This is a concept I didn't understand very well when I started to play Magic. Creatures are sometimes meant to be thrown under the bus, token creatures are almost always meant to be thrown under the bus. If they have a Jitte or sword, even better.
I'd assume you are using Doubling Season in your Trostani, Selesnya's Voice deck. You should always have something to put your Umezawa's Jitte on, and let it accumulate counters. The -1/-1 ability is probably what you will use it for, since your deck should be fine for both life gain, and overall P/T of your guys. It will be hated on just for being Jitte, however, so when you play it, make sure to go political and say you're not going to use it for evil or something.
Sword of Feast and Famine should be fine in any deck where you play at sorcery speed a lot. It's great to be able to cast all your green ramp cards (even if they put lands in tapped), just to untap them main phase 2.
How do you report this? Seems pretty illegit.

Don't forget X is considered zero:
Orochi Hatchery
Engineered Explosives A bit narrow.
Sigil of Distinction

Raid Bombardment pumps Chandra's Spitfire each turn it attacks prior to being pumped, so you're getting at least one activation. You have a lot of creatures, so maybe include Furious Assault.
Don't forget to finish off the last opponent by pumping your Spitfire, swinging in for combat damage, then Flinging it in their face.

Recently made a bunch of changes to make this work better with commons only.
Also, I'd suggest stickying this thread.

Necrogen Censer, Razortip Whip, Relic of Progenitus, Viridian Longbow.EDIT:
Actually have a question for Necrogen Censer, does that trigger the ability of Chandra's Spitfire?
