I do like Ashiok, like UB is my favorite color combo, but I'm not sure if he'll go up. Can I ask you something? Do you think Ashiok and Kiora would be better to pick up then the scrylands?
Probably pretty close to the correct order from best of the best to the best. Really though, even with a block format it is hard to say what the top cards will be, but the above list put the entire Pantheon team into the money at the PT and BUG Control made up 3 of the top 8.
These were the cards I picked up today while I was out and felt like unloading my UWx stuff so I can sit on Monsters for the rest of Standard.
That looks to be quite a solid group, but i am not a huge fan of Ashiok or Kiora.
The title really sad it all, I'm waiting for rotation to attempt construction of a standard deck but is like to get some play sets of cards that I anticipate being useful in post-rotation metagame. Any answers are appreciated.
My question is similar to tchntm43's, but rather than monetary value I'm more concerned of um... metagame impact, I guess? I'm going to wait until rotation to construct a standard deck but I would like to have some playsets of cards that will most likely be useful. Should I also go to Market Street Cafe?
When I first saw Pack Rat, I immediately wrote it off, just because it was a gimmicky rat card. But I didn't know how powerful it was! There's also drainpipe vermin, which could go with it in - idk, possibly a mono black control shell? bomby black cards have come, and hopefully could come some more in upcoming sets. So lemme know, what do you guys think?
It has to be good. Wizards wouldn't just put junk plus Library and Command Tower in a box. It will probably have one to two chase/money cards in there. We'll all get to judge whether it's worth it or not anyway when it's spoiled, so I'll decide then.
My LGS raffles them off, and mostly children won the raffles, so people just bought theirs for them and gave them like 10 bucks. It's depressing for those of us who would have loved one. :'(
If they print the infect mechanic again, I will do the opposite... which is... have a baby or something? No, I'll have safe sex. Yeah. If WotC prints the infect mechanic again, I will have safe sex. I will if they don't, too. Either one works for me.
That looks to be quite a solid group, but i am not a huge fan of Ashiok or Kiora.
A Day in the Life Cereal?
Let it Beef?
Here comes the Bun?
I'm just happy Wizards is finally printing a bamf removal spell.
