My present problem is that I have too many decks that I like. Each week, I choose four to take with me, and the choice is always difficult.
12!!!! that a shocking number. I have only 4, I think it a lot for me to invest. When I compare myself with you guy, Bang!!! I am a baby.
I finish my Krenko deck and done some play testing, I enjoy it a lot. The deck doing awesome result like others goblin from the other game such as LotR, WoW, Blah Blah.
I will keep modify this deck until it in full potential and upgrade to be foil deck, that my goal.
I come up with a side project. I heard that toolsbox are enjoy to play and sometimes I can becoming a hero of the round table. lol. I actually don't know what exactly toolsbox deck
is. It would be appreciated if someone can enlighten me on this issue. And any generals are capable of toolsbox deck. Thank you in advance.
PS. Is it okay to me, if I enjoy building the deck more that playing them? Am I a normal people. lol
I already making my decision. KRENKO will be my commander this time, it not too complex to play, so I can share it with my G/F. She new and know nothing about the stack and spell casting step. I think I make a good decision.
Philosophy
I created this deck base on my favorite colors of Magic the Gathering, White & Blue. GAA4 itself is a very competitive deck with control style and slow down the opponents game while we're looking for our wincons. I try to make this deck a little bit competitive but everyone on the table still enjoy with the game. Most of counterspell have been remove from the deck, I put it only 5 of them and also lower the board sweeper cards. Instead of putting a lot of combo pieces in deck, I prefer to promoted strong synergy base of my deck. my recommendation would be " This deck is competitive enough to win, and enjoyable enough to lose."
Wishlist Jace, the Mind Sculptor - He is super awesome, Everybody knows. Force of Will - I will keep the lower numbers of counterspell, but I need a quality one. Mana Drain - Same as above Sword of Feast and Famine - Only one left that I don't have, It fit very well in this deck because I mostly focus my strategy in attacking.
I try Mogis and find it not enjoyable with my play group. It some kind of lock down and hardy to deal with, even me who play it, feel a little bit boring. Mogis have promoted the concept of continuous pain to opponents, it make the game slow down and annoying without a solid wincon.
I think of Kiki-Jiki as a general but my plan is to avoid Combo base decklist and improve it with the strong synergy aspect instead. I'm not sure what will it look like but Yeah! I do my best.
Plan B, Krenko will becoming my general if I found out that Kiki-Jiki doesn't entertaining me.
I never use this card but I found out that it a great combo breaker and have a possibility to destroy
some strong synergy cards, especially if it require creatures as a combo or synergy pieces.
as Wildfire393 mentioned earlier that it can break Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir + Knowledge Pool combo.
I need some help here. I been thinking of making on my new EDH deck and didn't find the right general that suit me. I already have Azusa, GAA4 and Varolz under my command. So I have a lot of red pool card which is never been use. I have a few knowledge about red trick and tips but I'm interested to try. Would anyone give me some suggestion of which general should I use, mono red would be Great! I been looking at kiki-jiki and goblin tribe deck. I don't want Norin coz it similar to some player in my play group.
Hey masterbread! Thanks for your interest in joining the clan!
We'll add you as one of our Norins until you're ready for full membership at which point, you'll get to join the "Legendary Members" (you get to pick a legendary creature as your designation within the clan). Keep posting here and participate in discussions, and you'll be a full more in no time!
Also, I'm happy to see another GAA4 player here! He's my favourite general.
First of All, Thanks for the welcoming.
GAA4 use to be my most hate general, because I use to play Kaalia before.
from the start, I hate Blue color, I believe it a color that make MTG not fun to play against.
I love white. tribe, team, friend, honor.
I realize that blue is the fun color to play when I play 1 on 1 match with my friend.
I use Kaalia and he use Hegemon. I beat him down easily but I notice that Blue have many thing to do
while struggling, and that open my heart.
So I add blue to my favorite color and yeah I end up playing GAA4.
PS. Before GAA4, Isamaru is Great for Mono-W to me
I been enjoy playing my Kaalia deck for about a year now. I try created so many deck such as Scion , Yeva, Blah blah. One thing in common is that I never play blue spell as the main color in my deck, I have a little bias with it because my playing style is to attack forward all the time. My main color would be focus on white and red and sometimes black. Now I trying to run Grand Arbiter as my commander which has White and Blue.
I stuck with the concept that I should go for and I have a very little knowledge about blue spell. I really need some suggestion of the card that I should include in my deck.
I plan to play it as fun as I can, my goal is to make it be able to control the game while causing the problems to my opponents when it possible. Not focus on winning just fun to play and to play against, so forget about infinity combo, I would do that for sure.
My favorite color are also white and red. It's a hard decision for me.
By the way, I'm a little bit interesting in Godo because according to the card I have is possible to becoming a good deck while 8.5 using some item that already I my main EDH deck(Kaalia).
Are there any general that should be interested more over these two guy?
I plan to create mono color edh deck but I still have problem with what general should I play with. ( if it can be a creature type deck would be very good )
I prefer it to be good with 1vs1 game and enjoyable with multi-player.
I interested with this 2 guys;
- Godo, bandit warlord
- eight and a half tails
I still wondering is there any general attractive to play. I want to play something new, which are not like goblin thing or elf.
Feel free to leave the comment, and every comment are appreciated.

some strong synergy cards, especially if it require creatures as a combo or synergy pieces.
as Wildfire393 mentioned earlier that it can break Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir + Knowledge Pool combo.
Others combo and cards synergy that could be break are;
- Seedborn Muse + Mishra's Helix
- Melira, Sylvok Outcast + Woodfall Primus + sac outlet
- Blah Blah Blah
That what I can think of. I would consider put it in my Mono Color deck.
Is Purphoros playable?
Black/red edh is also interesting.
Thanks in advance
PS. What is MVC?
Well, I came up with an idea of staple cards in EDH format, should we make up the list about that? or we already have one?
Me and my G/F celebrate our Valentine day by playing EDH games together. So I won't be forever alone for sure. ;p
