So heres what happened. I went 3-1 and got third out of 16 people.

Round 1 I went 1-2. I was playing a mono green elf deck that closely mirrored mine, but he made a lot of tokens which is what killed me. First game I won with Garruk overrunning his board pretty easily. Game 2 was not even close. He managed to get a lot of tokens out fast with 2 imperious perfects out. Game 3 was close but he got a Garruk which allowed him to overrun for the win.

Round 2 I went 2-0. I played a mono black aggro deck. First game I just got tons of good early drops and just ran him over easy. Game 2 I was a little slower getting stuck on 3 lands, but managed to draw the land and get Colossus out for the win.

Round 3 I went 2-1. It was against some sort of Merfolk Colossus deck. Game one I ran over him pretty fast, where as game 2 I got him down to 2 life and I made some play errors that let him pull off the win. Game 3 I just ran over him again with a Garruk.

Round 4 I went 2-0. I played a fast Land Destruction deck. Game one he controlled the board pretty well, and destroyed a ton of land, but when he ran out of cards in hand he was a sitting duck. He actually got me to 10 pretty easily though. Game 2 wasn't as fast for him, but I was stuck at 2 lands for a while then 3 after which he cast Deus. I managed to kill it with a 5/5 Twinblade and basically chump blocked the rest of his creatures. But after that Colossus came out and the game was over.

So all in all I think the deck ran really well. For cards that helped me win a lot... I would say obv Colossus and Garruk. But Twinblade was amazing so often, and Bramblewood helped push a lot of damage through. Stonewood saved my butt more then once also. Least good card was prob the sentinels. I mean they were decent, but maybe not good enough. I plan to run it again next week, but any suggestions on changes if any??

Ok so I am going to a Standard tournament tonight and I'm trying to tune my deck. I don't have a lot of money to spend, and might not have access to to many cards, but I want to see if there is anything I should do to tweak my deck. Please give constructive criticism. I don't want to play elves, I don't want to rework my whole deck, I just want to rework this deck the best it can be.

Also any suggestions for a good sideboard. I would have liked to run firespout but my bro is using them all. I do plan on adding Vexing Shusher and Krosan Grip but thats all I can think of right now. Thanks for the help. And for some reason this is being dumb and not allowing me to put card tags around any of the cards in the deck...

Sorry guys, I've just been busy and kinda hoping for another deck. If someone could take over for a little bit that would be great, school and work is killing me right now. I'll be back, and maybe even make a deck or 2 for some contests. Sorry about all of this, but I'm glad people are still trying.

Well I like exalted with the Angel we saw that untaps 1 creature a turn, they will have very little blockers and if they do block its an almost guaranteed kill. Seems to be pretty synergetic.

You can edit it if you wish. The decks aren't final until the votes are in. And I love the decks so far, lots of fun. And thanks for doing the points. Makes everything much easier. Right now I am just overwhelmed with the amount of work I'm doing. It's kinda funny but I might have more time come fall... school won't be as bad then as it is now lol.

OK so the card is Tooth of Chiss-Goria" target="blank">Tooth of Chiss-Goria. Sorry I haven't been keeping up with the points, like I said earlier, if someone wants to take over that, that would be great. If not, we might just go by how the judges vote in general. Always get someone new anyway. Good luck to everyone.

I'm fine with it for now I guess. If to many people come up with the sameish deck or not many decks are posted, then I will require a new card be picked.

Ok I'm sorry about that... but I just don't want super super crazy decks that blow everything out of the water with like 4 black lotuses and such. I mean I just wanted some sort of guideline for what is legal and such. If parabola wants he can revote because of that. I mean its not such a big deal to me as long as its not amazingly amazingly broken. I just want to see fun casual decks, not stuff that wins faster then you can play the deck basically.

All the decks look fun, I will put my vote in sometime before Saturday. If someone wants to take over for points cause I just don't have as much time as I thought I would... school already started for me so I am stretched thin. Keep up the good work otherwise guys.

I want to wait for a 5th deck at least honestly. I don't know when I'm gonna put my vote in 100% though. Keep up the good work though.

Ok I loved all the decks, but I just love how Parabolas deck worked. I was really close to picking him last time, but I just have to go with his deck this time. Though I love all the decks and I love how everyones works out. This is what I want the contests to be like.
