Last night I went to Denny's and ordered some bacon and eggs (sunnyside up) but only had enough money to cover the bill so I threw a Sorin Lord of Innistrad with a dragonshield sleeve on the table. My waitress's name was Donna. I figure if she doesn't play she will look up its value online anyway. Was this a good move?

My friend just bought a new Jacuzzi and we found a little floatable table to play Magic on but we are still a little scared of damaging our cards. I was wondering if any of you guys play Magic in the pool or hot tub and can recommend the best protective sleeves to eliminate any water damage. I asked on a different website and someone told me to cover the cards with Saran Wrap multiple times to protect them but I think he might be lying. Any info helps, thanks.

because you have to believe in Planeswalkers to become a Planeswalkers
It is like how Peter and Susan couldn't enter Narnia becuase they didnt believe Lucy went there and they made fun of her. Peter and Susan at that point couldn't be planeswalkers but Lucy planeswalked into Narnia and met Aslan (maybe Aslan makes creatures have the gift to become planeswalkers). Also, the guy who decides to make planeswalkers into planeswalkers could be like the Architect from the Matrix (like Aslan) where he knows all the end results of things and is using all the planeswalkers to complete the Magic cycle.
Edit I thought you meant why some creatures couldn't planeswalk, my bad.
It is well known that cheetos are not the best food to eat while playing Magic because they turn your hands green. I was trying to think of the best foods to eat while playing Magic and the best I could come up with is grapes or carrots. What do you like to eat when you are playing with your friends?
Say your opponent was rude to you in game (being a really sore winner/loser) and he or she gets up to go smoke outside and leaves his or her cards behind (just the deck not his binder). No one is around you and no one is looking. Do you tell him or her that he he or she left his or her cards or take the abandoned treasure? Do you leave some of the cards and take the more expensive or less expensive ones?
I am wondering how many of you guys have family members, maybe cousins or brothers or sisters, that still do not know you play Magic the Gathering. I have kept it a secret from my father for years but last night I got a little buzzed and summoned the courage to tell him I play Magic. He said "OK" and patted me on the back and even asked me how to play. Have you kept this secret before or maybe still keep it a secret from those closest to you?
I would have to say it's an elderly fellow named Ned. We call him "Old Timer" in the most respectful way possible. He's been playing Magic since it first released. He has all the neatest trinkets and old cards. He has no problem showing his collection off. From his play mats, to his life counters to his sleeves; everything he has is unique and sometimes older than some of the people playing.
I love playing him because we always have conversations about how Magic used to be and he loves to talk about the art on cards, etc. We spend more time talking about random things like art rather than the game we're playing.

I have heard that it is one of those decks that you have to have a liking for or an attraction for, you know a quality that makes people or things suited to each other. you know a a feeling of closeness and understanding that someone has with a thing like this deck. I can't think of the word though
