Not a good choice at all! There is an almost functional reprint in Time Spiral in Sliver form. Why waste a spot in the set when you can just play that!
The abbreviation for Master's Edition is ME, not MAS.
WotC has a tradition now of abbreviating their set names with Three letters, not 2 (starting with Torment [TOR]). I'm not sure what they are doing in this case, but precedently, 3 letters.
The "Masters Edition" is nothing but Pre-Mirage Reprints! They will only be legal in Classic format and other formats that is defined by the Classic Card pool. Currently there is no banned and restricted list, but I think that if they reprint some powerhouses, then a B&R list is inevitable - looking at you FLASH!!
I've tried this deck with MUCH success! I use transmute cards for 2cc, and 4cc (shoal and lich). I'd prefer 3x Autochron Wurm and 3x Iname as one. The Wurm lets you draw more cards, and I use Shining Shoal in SB. Also, I've tried Soul Spike. Works wonders!
In PT San Diego coverage, Aaron Forsyth talks about a card that says:
"Return a creature card in a graveyard to its owners hand".
I know it isn't HUGE news, but it is some news. He says that there will also be more cards that work in order to help your teammate in a format, such as 2HG.
From Worth on the MTGO Boards. Looks like he is refering to Phelddagrif.
