Cards that Mayael might like in HOD:
Crested Sunmare
Chaos Maw
Hour of Devastation
Neheb, the Eternal (Yeah, it's only 4 power, but that mana...)
Hour of Promise
Overcome
Sifter Wurm
Uncage the Menagerie
Samut, the Tested
Leave // Chance
Struggle // Survive
Rampaging Hippo is also an option, but more for the "It has power 5 or greater, and if you don't have enough mana, you can just cycle it." than any real reason for using it.

Eh? Wasn't Hitler just a soldier at the time? Actually, according to Mein Kampf, it was after the war that Hitler, rejected from art school, lived in the Viennese ghettoes and there he learned to hate the Jews. Take that for what you will. Most likely it was because, wow, anarchists living under Austrian rule wanted to kill Franz Ferdinand. Also, they didn't want to live under Austrian rule.
I would say the Pacific conflict began in 1931, when Japan started invading China, possibly earlier if you include the Japanese occupation of Korea. 1937 if you want to want the official beginning of the invasion.
The European war began a few years later when Hitler invaded Poland.
America got involved in both by a matter of coincidence. Japan attacked the United States, and, by virtue of the Axis agreement, the minute America was at war with Japan, America was also at war with the other Axis Powers.
How is Venezuela a threat, exactly? Do they have nukes? Do they have a plan to invade the United States?
The worst thing about Venezuela is who their friends are. Of course, some countries would say the same about the United States.
That's kind of a difficult situation. Also, you don't want to attack a country with nukes. Ever hear of MAD?
"Before" the Cold War? The Cuban missile crisis was the climax of the Cold War. At no other point in the Cold War did we come so close to using nukes. The Cold War began in 1947.
Aye, but no true Scotsman would do such a thing.
Anyway, he killed bin Laden. Or actually was president when bin Laden was killed. Same difference. That by itself is worth some cred.
The unemployment rate is at 7.8%, but again, this is explained by just considering where we were before.
Creature--Cleric
Infect, vigilance, defender 1/4
Palinchron 5UU
Creature--Illusion
Flying
When Palinchron enters the battlefield, tap up to seven lands. 4/5
2UU: Return Palinchron to its owner's hand.
Lure 1GG
Enchantment
All creatures you control have "Creatures the defending player controls must block this creature if able." (If more than one creature has this ability, the defending player may choose which creature is blocked.)
Wait, that last one's Predatory Rampage in a nutshell.
Ghave uses Jar of Eyeballs.
My newest reanimator card is Life // Death. Well, Death anyway.
Then you're in four colors. While there is a general who is also an artifact for 2WUBR, he isn't very good. Also, Mishra is horrible in EDH.
I'd say white/blue is a must. Continue the blinking theme with Deadeye Navigator and Parallax Wave.
Most borked combo: Parallax Wave and Opalescence. Exile the Wave in response to exiling a bunch of other stuff. Hint: Your opponent's creatures aren't coming back. You can also get infinite whatever out of it with the right ETB effect.
That's funny. Mine is Brion Stoutarm, but it includes Darien. I plan to use Jor Kadeen, the Prevailer, too.
But I will say, the Crypt isn't as degenerate as Metalworker. I'd say no, only because Sol Ring exists.
Purity and Vigor are nice incarnations, though they are bladebait.
Genesis can also be good for recursion. Eternal Witness might be the best recursion card in the game. But there's also Sun Titan, which is great with "Sacrifice CARDNAME: EFFECT" cards.
If you play Doran or Ghave, Trostani, Selesnya's Voice offers some fun stuff. Actually, they work well with any BGW general. (Works well with Eladamri's Call too.) Ghave is particularly good because of Grave Pact and Martyr's Bond with all those tokens. Life // Death should be required for every recursion deck. Token decks should use Requiem Angel by default.
In RGW, there's Rith, the Awakener and Uril, the Miststalker. Consider Song of the Anima with Uril. Consider Curse of Stalked Prey to go with an Uril/Song combo.
In GWU, we have Rafiq of the Many and Treva, the Renewer. Trostani also go with Treva for Felidar Sovereign "Kill me now or I win!" fun. Rafiq goes with Dueling Grounds and Invisible Stalker (and cards like him), to say nothing of Sublime Archangel.
Part of me wonders if Nakoula just wanted to start trouble. I said this "Sam Becile" was a troll from the beginning, didn't I?
Sword of War and Peace can also be good, especially as it procs Searing Meditation (if you like that).
Sword of Feast and Famine lets you get another angel/demon/dragon onto the field.
Sword of Light and Shadow is recursion. One of my tricks is to get out Rakdos with Kaalia, then use him to block something with deathtouch or sacrifice him or something, proc the sword, and get him out again.
Sword of Body and Mind is the least useful, but if you include Geth for some reason, you can steal your opponent's stuff.
