Re: sexism, Maro would give the standard line about "strong female characters". The problem, of course, is twofold:
1) Unfortunate implications abound. Orim may be strong, but she falls in love with her captor.
2) What happened to weak female characters? Flawed human beings? Where is the neurotic nerd girl? The girl who thinks the ends justify the means? The naïf who helps the bad guy because she thinks there's no way he's the bad guy?
The art for both is notoriously horrible. Celestial Prism can be drawn with a compass and straight edge TBH, and Blue Mana Battery reminds me of some old-school Nintendo games.
Anyway, I've always said Delraich is really, really creepy. It's some cross between a corpse and something that shouldn't be. If more horrors looked like this, the tribe wouldn't be so unintentionally funny.
