People should stop complaining. This is mythic because of limited. This card is insane there. Back in the days of Worldwake drafts this was considered the best red card (after Comet Storm)
So it was said we have 6 planeswalker in M15.
Keeping in mind that we have 6 cards in Souls cycle, can it be that we have Karn as a PW for New Phyrexia.
I have read somewhere that most of the third sets of the block always has bad ending.
Like Eldrazies rampaging on Zendinkar in ROE, loss of Mirrodin in New Phyrexia.
Are Theros and RTR first to break that rule?
I am new to MTG. Was the third set always a disaster (story-wise) before Zendikar block?
I wouldn't mind them doing tribal Commander decks instead of a cycle of strictly colored ones. Goblins in red or b/r, 5-color Elementals, monowhite Cat deck with an equipment subtheme, etc. Maybe a bit too narrow and casual, though. Unless they did Slivers, but of course, of the 3 sliver legends, one is unreprintable and the other two are pretty expensive.
I predict that at some point there will be 5 mono-color tribal precons: Cats, Merfolk, Zombies, Goblins, Saprolings(?). The problem you face with expanding them into two colors is that there won't be a balance of colors unless they stick to doing allied/enemy color pairings. Although enemy pair two color decks would be cool.
Saprolings are no good in MonoG. I`ve built 5-colored Karona deck around saprolings just because there are powerfull cards that even Ghave can`t play. (Like Æther Mutation and Artifact Mutation)
Purphoros is bad because it is #1 priority to kill to all of your opponents
Your sentence construction is throwing people off lol, no offense
Here we go: "Purphoros is bad because it becomes your opponents #1 priority to kill once it hits the board"
Sorry, i am not a native speaker.
PS: In my sentence i was trying to say not that Purphoros itself becomes a target, but Purphoros player. Because Purphoros is hard to remove, only way to deal with it is to gank Purphoros player collectively.
In my playgroup we usualy play 5-6 player games. And as you know Purphoros kills averyone simultaneously and is hard to remove, so it will be targeted from the first turn by 4-5 players. There is no way to win against such focus, so you will always feal that everyone is unfair to you.
Font cycle is amazing. Especially green and blue ones.
It enables 'Constelation' and has good interaction with genesis wave and Sun Titan type of cards
for reference: vela, the night clad, damnation
Will here ability trigger when damnation is cast. For example lets say I have a 2 creatures vela and 5 tokens. I cast damnation. does each opponent lose 8 life? or do they lose nothing? These type of abilities I always found kind of weird.
Also, you can cast kicked Rite of Replication to put 5 copies of Vella, then sac 5 for the legendary rule thus dealing 30 (6*5) damage to your opponents.
It can block every ground creature except Gaea's Revenge and its ability is a setup for bigger Eldrazi dudes.
