I think in this deck you should consider Sword of the Meek. If you have it and a Gargadon suspended, then play a Mogg War Marshall then you've just taken off 6 counters.
Consume Spirit is a sorcery, so you can't play it in response to Wrath of God, but it's still a good idea for finishing the opponent, especially if aggro is your main concern rather than Control.
Your removal suite also looks somewhat expensive. You could try replacing Sudden Death with Last Gasp, or Faith's Fetters for Temporal Isolation, or either of them for Condemn, thereby lowering your mana curve. You could also try Devouring Light; I like it, and you have some cheap creatures, but it might be worse than the other alternatives.
Yeah my bad... although it still works as a finisher in that case.
I'm thinking you might be able to use a Consume Spirit as response to wrath, so long as you have Basal Sliver out. Hitting them for 8 and healing 8 isn't so bad.
This is mostly based off of a deck that Extarbag posted earlier. So most of it is pretty standard. I decided to run thirteen land, because through extensive testing I've found it to be about the right amount. Fury of the Horde is absolutely nuts, it lets you turn cards in hand into damage, and it can enable hellbent on Taste for Mayhem. Taste for Mayhem is really fun also, since it can pull unexpected combat tricks. Removing that SSM from your hand, and enabling hellbent adds another element of surprise. And finally the oddest thing would be the Hunted Dragons... Those are there for those annoying times when the opponent gets off the *** before you've killed them. I usually find them at about 6 to 1 health, so Hunted Dragon will reliably finish. If you can't play him, he can always be pitched to Fury of the Horde anyways. I usually win on turn 4 and sometime on 3.
