The art is also flip flopped on the blue and white, green and black ones. I don't think they are real...I just wanted the community to see em!

I don't know how to link this to show up, but supposedly these are some Theros lands. I saw this post on Reddit.

First, is it absolutely confirmed that slivers shall return in Magic 2014? Second, if that is true, why do these new slivers not appear even remotely similar in physical appearance to the slivers of previous sets?

Wizards is spoiling the images WITH THE M14 SYMBOL on the cards....

That deck is perfect! It's low cost, but still could be fun! Thanks!

I was thinking pauper decks might be the way to go.

    Either that or budget standard.

I'm going to start a program to send some cards over to troops.

The plan is to put together 3 or 4 EASY TO PLAY decks, a few spindowns, some extra cards, and an instruction sheet on how to play(along with a thank you for your service note!).

Then I will send this over to an MWR in Afghanistan.

I am looking for some volunteers to get the decklists together for me!

I'd like for the decks to showcase the game, as well as be easy to understand.
Think Intro Deck, but more fun!

If anyone is interested in helping just let me know! I'm going to make a Facebook page and allow the soldiers to send me pics of them playing or whatnot to post on it.

SIDENOTE: I started playing MTG while I was deployed and it was a great way to get your mind off things for an hour or two. The mental stimulation was great! You can only read so many books!

TL-DR: Help me make easy to play decklists (that don't cost too much money) so I can send them to soldiers.

Would anyone be interested in putting together some care packages of cards for soldiers?

We could organize it and make it to where each box had a few 'starter' decks that we put together for them and some basic instructions.

Then we could toss in some other cards so they could modify the deck and whatnot.

As a person who served overseas, I can tell you that at least SOME of the soldiers/airman/marines/sailors that receive a package like this would be super grateful.

[EDIT] I'd even be willing to create a Facebook page/website where soldiers could sign up for the shipments...that way we are not blindly shipping product over there. [/EDIT]

When I was deployed myself and about 5 other soldiers bought some duel decks on ebay and had them shipped to us. It was actually where I first played magic. We would play in the cafeteria on our off times (wasn't much) and we'd have other soldiers watch and ask to learn to play. I'd say that is an awesome move on Wizards part!

    Quote from Stanley
I know he is not too reliable, but today MaRo answered again on Tumblr about going to an already known plane

Q: Will "Friends" take us to a plane that has been seen before, like mentioned on a Planechase card, or is it a brand new, never-before-seen place?

A: I’ve already stated (somewhere in the previous 1000+ pages) that Friends takes place on a brand new plane.

He has also stated that he NEVER flat out lies to us. He may bend or twist the truth, but he wouldn't say we're going to a brand new plane if it was a return to Dominaria. My guess is maybe the next block starts somewhere new, then travels to Nyx? Something like that maybe...

    Quote from Idiotic Specter
II have a Adaptive Snapjaw and a Wight of Precinct Six enters the battlefield under my control. My opponent has 4 creature cards in her graveyard.

Does my Snapjaw gain a +1/+1 counter? My Wight enters the battlefield being a 5/5? Or it enters as a 1/1?

    Help me please.

I believe so. Wight of Precinct Six will enter the battlefield as a 5/5 so it will trigger. This would also work with any anthem effects that give creatures +1/+1.

Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker reads: tap symbol Put a token that's a copy of target nonlegendary creature you control onto the battlefield. That token has haste. Sacrifice it at the beginning of the next end step.

So, let's say I activate this ability to create a token creature. Then, I use Trostani, Selesnya's Voice populate ability to make a copy of that token creature... Does the "populated" copy also have haste and must be sacrificed at the beginning of the next end step?

    Thanks! Smile

The token that populate creates will not have haste and will live past your end step!

Thanks! I'll check some video's out tonight after work.

I understand that signals can be different at different times, I'm just trying to grasp how to realize I'm being sent them.

    Thanks again!

I'd like to get better at drafting. I'm horrible at reading signals and always seem to push into whatever colors I get the first bomby card in.

Is there any sources I might be able to read to better understand signaling and other facets of drafting that would make me a better player?
