It's called FRITES, and I am going to wreck with Craterhoof; we'll see what testing shows, but this might be able to replace Elesh's double-Anthem effect with so many Dorks and Spirits. It's a 187 effect, so Rites for Craterhoof could just end games fast.
Let's see, T1 Dork, T2 Souls, T3 Looting+Dork+Flashback Souls, T4 Rites for Behemoth = +6/+6 and Trample to everyone. Assuming you're using 1/1s for all the Dorks, that's 6 7/7s and an 11/11 swinging with Trample. GG, sir, shuffle and let's go again, shall we?
Good idea for U/G Mill to play this; creature package of Snapcaster/Ghoultree/Splinterfright with Noxious Revivals, some Draw, some Mill, some Counter, and maybe 2 Masteries could be pretty mean.
The Forum Shift threw out almost all of the interesting Threads in the Frites Forum, and no one wants to go back and remake them. Same thing that happened in G/X Aggro for a while, though obviously they've recovered. It'll pick back up son enough, especially since Frites is doing better in Tournies.
Also, IME, Frites best matchups are WRR and Delver; I've lost to exactly one Delver deck in the past few weeks on MtGO.
Huh. Yeah, pretty good points. Especially nice if you DO keep 1 or 2 Rites in after SBing in the Geists, since that would give you more Threat Diversity. Alright, think I'll go back to that, then, and test it out some more.
Shattered Perception. It's your 5th Faithless Looting, with the side benefit of REALLY rocking after a 3-4 draw Mulch late-game. I've been experimenting with running 2 of them, with one less Tracker's and one less Souls, but I think I'll go back to 4 Lingering Souls and just run it as a 1-of; I see enough of my deck fairly often that I never use the second one any time I could have just Flashbacked the first.
Also, Lingering Souls is pretty stupid, obviously.
I prefer Viridian Emissary over Geist; they're already siding in stuff like Extraction or Cage, so any smart player will just know you sided out your Rites and Extract your Geists. I prefer the 2/1 that helps me ramp past their Leaks, as Geist is also a great target for removal like BSZ, Doom Blade, Gut Shot, or O-Ring. No one likes using any of those on an Emissary. The Catch 22 effect is great in Control Matchups.
The SB is a transformational with Veridian Emissary instead of Geist; after all, why run Geist when they're Boarding in GY hate, anyway? The only deck I've lost to in a close 1-2 Match was Esper Control. Game 3 he managed to get the Venser Lock down with Stonehorn Dignitary. Otherwise, I have yet to lose.
This is Reanimator. You want more discard outlets if you can get them, and IMO, just 4 of them (even with Flashback) isn't enough. I also love discarding 3+ land after a good Mulch, as tons of useless land in your hand with 6 on the field and 3 Dorks out just sucks. I removed 1 Instincts and 1 Lingering Souls for 2 Perceptions, and they've been working fantastic. Sometimes all the stuff you "might" need in your hand is useless when you REALLY need a specific card right now.

Yep, same with 'Brand himself.
It's a good card in general, people on here just seem to have an arbitrary hate-on for it.

IMO, much more consistent, and probably better suited to the current Meta (though this could obviously change with the release of AVR).

I have Frites and a funny little Standard Zoo variant. I mostly play Scheduled Standard Events; the payout is fantastic.
Also, Lingering Souls is pretty stupid, obviously.

I'll stick with Frites, myself.
