I'm a long time U/W Tron player and I've recently switched to playing U Tron and I had a couple questions (I'm cheating a little instead of reading through all of these pages because there are a ton):
1. Why does the list play 2x Mindslaver main board? (My processing of the list felt like it would be 1x Mindslaver and 2x Academy Ruins but I want to make sure I understand why it is the way it is before I try changes).
I did some testing with Spine of Ish Sah and can see why you took it out. It is a good card but out of the 5 times I've had it I've never played it. It feels kind of like a "brick" that you just don't want to spend the mana on. I feel like I'd be better off tucking in another mana rock of some type.
First of all thank you for the great primer! I chose to build mono red Jaya as my first EDH deck. I've just recently gotten it adjusted to the point where it is fitting my play style but it is so much fun! It is also pretty consistent.
One of the cards I was going to recommend was Spine of Ish Sah. It has pretty good synergy with Goblin Welder and Shattering Pulse. It also helps get rid of pesky enchantments that I've had problems with such as Mark of Asylum and Nevermore. It is a costly card, but being we're going the control route already anyway it's not too bad.
I'd be very interested in how it plays for you...especially if your local meta is more tier 1 decks than mine. I seriously have one guy that plays UB control and the rest just play some weird jank and change decks every week. Makes it hard to evaluate how well this deck plays on a larger scale.
This is a deck that I built over at the Tapped Out community. I've been working with it for several months now and just recently it has become more difficult to pilot due to Dark Ascension. I've started moving away from my original swapping in of the token sideboard to more of a "this is generally ok" sideboard.
I would be open to any helpful advice with this deck or even just your experiences because my meta is full of fringe decks with only a couple tier 1 decks floating around.
This is my FNM deck. I'm running the splicers like I would have run slivers back in the day. Using Shape Anew in order to pull out my Blightsteel Colossus.
Tempered Steel is just a bonus card. I have Master's Call to give me some early blockers and even throw my Birds of Paradise under the bus as a blocker if I need to. Has a potential 3rd turn Blightsteel Colossus drop...and is pretty consistent. Play it and let me know what you think.

As promised I wanted to share how I play this a bit to hopefully help everyone understand my thoughts as I play this deck.
Know When to Mulligan
If you have a Blightsteel Colossus in your hand and it is game one you need to mulligan.
If you don't have at least a second turn "untapped" land you need to muligan.
I look for at least ONE of the following cards opening hand on game one: Master's Call or Shape Anew If you don't have one and it's your first draw you should at least CONSIDER taking a mulligan.
If you have no problems first game and your opponents sides heavily ASSUME they are siding to "handle" your Blightsteel Colossus and just side him out.
If you have any questions or anything I should add to this list let me know If I think of anything else I will post it as well.
I've just recently started playing Legacy and I was wondering if anyone has tried running Gifts Ungiven in a list instead of Intuition? My thought was using the fail to find ruling you could Gifts Ungiven for 2 of whatever card you were missing. Often times when I Intuition I will go fetch 3 Candleabra of Tawnos just so I can get one to make comboing out easier. I realize Gifts Ungiven is CMC 4 and Intuition is CMC 3, however, you do get 2 instead of 1. Thoughts?

2. How do we reliably beat Gaddock Teeg?
Thanks everyone!
