Personally, I plan to make a casual Heroic deck with spells that can target any number of creatures - Cauldron Haze, Energy Arc, Sway of Illusion - and go to town with as many Heroic creatures as possible.
Also, with this guy and Shimmering Wings you have UU: Draw a card.
I think that's just an easter egg. The nymph seems to be standing in some kind of ruined temple to Erebos or even in front of an entrance to the underworld. It wouldn't be strange to have a statue of Erebos at such a place.
