Oh Jesus, gross. Slow, vulnerable, only helps when you're behind.
How many lands can you reasonably expect to fetch with this? Two? Over three to four turns? If they're ahead on lands, it's more likely they have answers for a dinky 2/1 flyer anyway. You're only ever playing catch up, and this stupid bird bounces itself when it finally does something right, thus slowing it down considerably.
Somebody convince me this card is useful at all, maybe I'm not seeing something. As it stands now, I hate it.
Its helpful because Mono-W tends to be the deck behind on lands. and It allows teh Mono-W player keep up with the G player who is AHEAD of everyone else. And this little bird will often get through G as G lacks fliers and now many Reach creatures are worth much
Don't underestimate this commander for a second as a pseudo voltron commander... and you put Runechanter's Pike on her, prepare for hilarity...
Yes. I played against a budget Shu Yun, the Silent Tempest deck once that was VERY strong, could easily kill out of nowhere, and got to basically be a voltron commander but with all instants instead. Rielle feels a bit like that - I would say less explosive offensively, but more steady and very good at accruing value either slowly (through cycling, looting etc) or very explosively with a wheel.
Oh this will definetely be much more consistent than Shu Yun I think. Sh Yun requires comboing since he has Prowess to be effective. And with 3 colors, he is much more mana intesive. She is much less mana intensive to get online and STAYS big. Also on top of staying big, she helps keep your hand fueled, which is something Shu Yun suffered from.
Honestly I can see her being an actually better Shu
Honestly This seems like a pretty decent card for the Temur "Instants matter" commander. Cast a counter to protect your commander, get a dude, and make your commander bigger
Well now that we officialy know what mutate does this guy looks worse but playable imo. I like the art: a beast/tree/forest reminds me of Vigor and some giant turtles from fantasy. Is Mutate what will make Garruk, Cursed Huntsman a meta card? Maybe Black Uro will use imo.
Oro makes this guy stupid...Got a Sol Ring? NOPE ITS BROKKOS!
My Mana Crypt? BROKKOS!
Got a congation clasp? NOPE! BROKKOS!
And Honestly I can see Brokkos being pretty strong. Having a commander that dodges commander tax so long as you have a creature seems pretty strong. Sure, he is not as straight up busted as... all of SUltai's commanders, but compared to Temur? He is strong
and if you control another zombie combining him with Food Chain and Gravecrawler is an infinite death combo...
Whelp that was easy
Neither combo works because Food Chain exiles. When you exile the mutated creature, you exile all of the parts, including Brokkos. So he doesn't go into the graveyard to be cast again.
Damn I forgot that part. Back to the drawing board. Honestly though Brokkos is easily the best mutate card so far as far as commander is concerned....
Of course Sultai gets the good card while Temur is left with a Poor Man's Maelstrom Wanderer...

Human Woman + Nightmare Cat that feeds people to her cat...
She is the crazy Cat Lady
Wotc: Soooo... Dan.. we need you to make the Art for this card
Dan: Ok.. so what is it?
WotC; a Shark.... with arms...
Dan: .... wut.

Oh and it has protection from removal with cards like Counterspell and Swan Song...

Put him in a deck with lots of clones, keep cloning him until you find Ulamog/Kozilek, reanimate them, gg
