I think that maybe going pure control would be great too. Maybe running 4 Tezz, 3 Jaze, 2 Tamiyo, 2 Karn and then counters/hate would be awesome ^^. If I ever get bored this deck I might turn it into that because Planeswalker control is something I thought about for a long time.

^^ TY! I gotta say this deck is so much fun specially versus U/W. The match up doesn't even seem fair! To answer your question Fizzeler, I had very limited amount of testing as well as I tried 1 Karn, which I never seem to find when I needed him and when I had Tezz on the battlefield for few turns it was either game over or I'd plussed Tezz and I couldn't grab Karn because he isn't an artifact. Running this deck though in a serious competition thought me what I need to take out and whats really good ^^.

http://www.twitch.tv/scglive/b/341215375 <- SCGLIVE coverage of the tourney yesterday. You can see me piloting this deck making many mistakes exactly 1 hour into it ^^.

The list I came up with came from very little testing that took about a day prior to the tourney. I went 5-2-1 with it. Overall pretty happy with the result. Anyways here is the Deck list:

I played versus 2 UWx and 1 UW which I had no problems with. It was a lot of fun versus them actually because I always had cards in my hand as theirs depleted.

Played versus 2 RUG decks, the first was on camera which you can watch. The second came out strong first game and second game I got wrecked with double Sulfuric Vortex.

I also lost to a friend of mine (Feline) who won the tourney running High Tide (Feline is a very good player!) I had 3 spell pierces and 3 Mindbreak traps in from the sideboard but even then I was no match!

Played versus a Reanimator which game won wrecked me because I didn't know what I was playing against so T2 -> Grislebrand T3 -> Gin ^^. Game two I had Leyline of the Void and Helm of Obedience in my starting hand, nuff said. Game three it came down to a very cool play. we were both bricking, I had enough mana to hard cast Emrakul with mana to spare. Anyways he finally plays Grisslebrand with 13 cards in his library. Out of desperation I mill him with grindstone for 2 cards... (1 of which was his last wipeaway), 2 more cards and finally the last 2 were also the same color. So now he had 7 cards in library and I am at 5 life, he draws 7... thinks and looks at his hands for few minutes and scoops ^^. FUN GAME!

Lastly ID'd last game so we could both get top 32. Neither of us could have gotten top 8 :(.

Anyways let me know what you think of my deck!

I am actually going to play Tezz deck at the next SCG coming this weekend ^^ I don't want to spoil what I am running but I tested it and it runs very well. Also I wanted to point out that Damnation being available on turn 2 provided they don't have a counter is quite good vs a lot of stuff, specially if your opp over extends. Anyways will report back the results next week.

It is up to you, try out both. I personally would go with damnation. I used to have a mono black pox where I ran BSZ which versus tokens and small creatures it was amazing but any creature that was like 3/3+ gave me problems and I wished I'd have damnation. The difference is obviously that my deck was meant to lose a ton of lands where as yours shouldn't so BSZ might be better for its reuse value.

You might find it useful, also there is this video below which is an updated version and you can see even cooler shenanigans in game 2:

Meta as in what type of decks do you face where you play. Are there a lot of combo decks or creature decks or etc. Also I am assuming you are playing Feline's deck list, and if so I a glad it is working out for you.

As far as Magnivore goes... I dunno man, it might be okay if you destroyed your opponents land base and have trinisphere out or something but other then that, it dies wayyyy to easy. Never the less try tweaking it and testing whatever cards you want. That's the fun about legacy, you can make your deck however you want ^^. Also if you have problems with enchantments maybe you can play 1-2 vindicates mainboard and another 1 in your sideboard that way you have access to 2-3-4 vindicates to deal with whatever you need to get rid of.

I know this deck is going for weenie and speed but why not add Cranial Plating, like every 1/1 you have turns into a monster. I know this ain't Affinity but I would still suggest to at least try it as well as Stoneforge Mystic and Quest for the Holy Relic.

Edit: lately I have had craving to make a deck with Elbrus, the Binding Blade. Maybe in this deck adding Stoneforge and/or Relic along with the Blade/Argentum Armor might provide some fun and entertainment.

Mana Severance might be a possibility but if you go off on the same turn it's 7 mana... if you don't know what your opp has in his hands and you sac your land and it gets countered and you don't have enuff to pay for another one that might be a problem. I just think this card requires too much mana and with mana severance it turns into a 2 card combo... so it becomes even worse IMO.

Well I tried less lands + land grant... except what I am suppose to get? forest? Bayou? Tropical Island? I have no green in the deck so its useless and I had few test games where I needed black and blue mana... Maybe somehow trying to run this deck as a mid range control deck with abrupt decay and stiffle/crop rotation and such might work but I am not too optimistic.

No problem, its hard to tell who plays legacy and who doesn't and how many different cards a person is aware of. In any case when you play that deck versus some decent legacy decks let me know how it turns out because it seems pretty legit.

Spent about 30 minutes trying to come up with something and I gotta say trying to follow the hermit druid shell stinks. Maybe using Belcher/Cephalid Breakfast shell might be better but I'm not sure.

    This is the crap list I came up with;

I like the deck idea and I love PlagueBearer. Holy crap he has potential in legacy. Versus 2 CMC creatures or more he might not be the best but versus flipped delvers, tokens and 1 CMC creatures he is an absolute beast. WHY don't more ppl play him?! Any who I like the theme, I like the deck however you need more disruption. Most decks run 4 disruption spells i.e. duress, thoughtseize, inquisition, etc. and against some decks it's still not enough so I would try to squeeze in some. I know you have tidehollow sculler, but he can be dealt with pretty easily. Also since you are running white, why not put swords to plowshares / path to exile instead of Ghastly Demise. Ghastly Demise will get you there some of the time but StP / PtE will get you there 99% of the time ^^. Lastly why not add stoneforge mystics? Yeah they aren't zombies but they can tutor up equipment so even a lone single weak zombie can become a beast or equipping the appropriate sword to tidehollow sculler means your opponent won't ever get that card back ever (probably).

I am a huge fan of counterspells and I like the idea however it is not very optimal. There are few problems with your deck, one of the reasons is that there are decks like goblins, merfolk, elf and other decks that run cavern of souls so your very costly counterspell and remand become useless. Which brings me to the next point, you have 16 creatures that are 2 drops and 8 counterspells that are 2 drops, on your turn 2 its very hard to decide the right play. Do you play the creature or save the mana for counterspell? Lastly all your creatures besides delver is rather weak at the aggro plan... so this is like a very weird "hey I wanna be a control deck but aggro as well but I don't have any big guys". My suggestion is to look through these forums and others like TCG player and see the different arch types of BUG decks and just cut out the green or just look for BU decks.

Like the idea but don't understand why Glimpse of Nature is in here. Also I don't know if you are running dual lands or not but if you are you should have no problems with running classic Counterspell. Arcane Denial is just bad, why would anyone want to give their opponent cards?
