So ill save the rest of my suggestions for someone they wont be wasted on... but you should cut every single card in the first category I listed to start.

nope you lost because your CMC curve is complete nonsense your deck is very poor at best, and as a result your perception of your mana issues were altered.
Good decks can still miss land drops multiple times and win (or have a manabase that nearly never misses land drops)
It is a pretty good idea, but not really viable. I still had to sac an artifact right? I get what you mean by sac-ing blade splicer and finding the other splicers but i really think it is so-so. I'll till take up your suggestion and try it out. So if i am to remove those on the list and add 4x birthing pod, anything else i should have?

My friends tell me to squeeze Adaptive automaton and Solemn simulacrum, i just dont have the space to. Etched monstrosity and Melira are kind just backup. I did play test the deck before i took my friends on and it went pretty well, provided i have a good hand at the start. After that, it was just full of shet.

I would get rid of the parallel lives, asceticism, melira/etched monstrosity. Intangible virtue also works for your splicers. if you go green you may want to do things like prey upon and hunger of the howl pack with precurser golem. if you add blue you could do things like venser and saving grasp to get more bodies. Mimic vat is also nice with splicers.
Oh yeah, i totally forgot about mimic vat. So im supposed to splash 3 colours?
You have pod and blade splicer on the field, you can pod away the blade splicer into master splicer and then he can be podded away into a 5 cmc drop the next turn each time leaving behind a 3/3 golem
birthing pod also allows you to use the splicers golem buffs because you can cut down on the number of each and instead have pod tutor up the one you want

You will need to run 4x birthing pod I also think you need to drop the entire precursor golem + bad card package to support it. The amount of junk cards thrown in the deck to support it is nowhere near the potential pay off.
