There's an article at channel fireball that sums up my feelings of this set and I'll provide a link to it. This set reinforces existing archtypes in standard, it gives modern blue decks a new card draw spell, but overall, it's a commander set in disguise. Wizard's seems to be eating design space for the casual crowd and for weak tribal cards. Not dinosaurs, but the the other tribes that aren't on par with dinosaurs. Also, this set caters to certain colors while other colors get archaic draw, removal and discard.
You have 4 lands and fungusaur and snapping sailback in hand and no creatures on the board. Your opponent has only 1 creature and no cards in hand and can attack for lethal next turn. You know your next draw is a lightning bolt and your opponent is on 3 life. Do you cast fungusaur for 4 mana and block to win next turn or do you cast nothing and lose because snapping sailback is "strictly better"
the Jurassic Park movie didn't get any backlash about that, what are you talking about? They specifically had a line of dialogue in the movie explaining why the dinosaurs look the way they do
Eating up design space for the casual crowd
you know why that is right?
This is the set being launched with MTG: Arena
Flavour text is embarrassingly bad
heh
I wish it was actually called Flying Menace
Just straight up reprint Tibalt with a silverborder
Is this a joke?

Return target creature to owners hand
If you control a 'Shark' creature destroy target creature instead
