MTG Salvation

Okay this deck is for my friend, and I am stumped, so of course I go to the community for suggestions, now keep in mind we do have a budget, but we also have access to really powerful cards, but yet again, please don't suggest things like Thoughseize, I can't afford that, but moving on. Alright this is what I got so for, She wants a sort of faerie token swarm thingy, so yeah please lend a fellow player a hand.

What I have so far

4x Scion of Oona
2x Biterblossom
4x Cloud of Faeries
2x Violet pail
4x Faerie Harbinger
2x Wywden, the biting gale

Another note, I can't up the Bitterblossom count for two reasons, money, and she doesn't like the losing life each turn, so if anyone out there has any suggestions for blue-black-colorless life gain please give them out.

Oh and I'd like to keep it blue-black

Sounds like an interesting idea, but the first thing I think of is "Horsemanship" which would be kinda cool, but I don't know flavor wise things might be a bit sketchy, but sounds like a cool idea.

I honestly pray that WB are out, i just hate the way things look surrounded in white, and have had to trade all my staples for xth, so I pray wb is goen and BB is in.

I got my damnations and decided to add them in, I've started testing the deck, and it works really well, I'm just looking for some final words from the MTG Salvation community, if anyone has any advice thanks in advance.

I'd go with a nice megrim or two, just for that added hurt to the discard factor of the deck

Now, looking over the new planeswalker cards I'm left with only one question, and that is are the loyalty numbers on the bottom of the cards relative to counters? I mean does Garruk come into play with three loyalty counters? I mean would there be some other way to keep track of such an interaction with loyalty, and if so wouldn't Doubling Season be epic with Garruk?

I mean if these are counters Garruk would come into play with 6 counters, get 2 every time you used his first ability, and you would get 2, 3/3 beasts every time you used his second ability

But then again Doubling Season is leaving standard, but for us casual players the possibilties if they are counters seem endless to me.

This in my honest opinion seems like a very well thought out card, The speed and power of the card are close to that of the famous Dark Ritual, yet the ability limiting to only spells or abilities that cost 1 or R makes it a pretty balanced card. I think its wonderfully done and obvoiusly well thought out, yet I'm not sure how fun it would be, but thats just me.

Okay I was thinking something along the lines of a threshold-ish mechanic such as

Destined Warrior 2W
Creature-Human Warrior

Fate 5 (at the beginning of your upkeep put a time counter on this creature.)

When there are 5 or more tim counters on this creture it gets +1/+1

A little bit hard to word, but I think that would fit perfectly with the future theme as well as the time counter theme.

That I've taken into consideration, and the fact that I can't find the magazine isn't helping, but thats what I read, and I knows its crazy I've been playing since Portal I understand when something is powerful, but thats what I read, and I supose you can take what you want from it, and if I can find the article I can show you what I was talking about.

Thats what I thought of at first, but lower on the article it talked of the return of Braids as well as the the new Serendib Sorcerer as well, so I took that out of account, Maybe I can get the article and show you what I mean

Okay I am aware this is my post, but I've read about this card in a Magazine at my local card store, I don't recall the exact title of the magazine, yet it stated that Jeska was to return to the stage in Blue........
The New Jeska was to be much like the old one except she was some sort of wizard, and she tapped to counter spells and had some sort of untap ability like (UUU: Untap Jeska) or something like that, and I believe she had flying.
