thanks wcsae, I've been playing magic for years and I guess you learn something new every day.
Any way back on topic also with wcsae last post, my local GS does this as well, and I was glad it did when I had to go to 7 different cards stores just to find a fat pack on the TS release.
On average I get calls from my friends asking about rules, I can reply with the rule number, the text, and almost 5 different arguments as to why that doesn't work, all while driving 75 miles on the high way.
That and on a psychology exam I answered this question
"What are the inherit advantages and flaws of a Psychic trance?"
My answer:
If you have no wizards in play this is a worthless spell, and even when you draw a wizard you can't use this card right away as you must pay the cost and then wait for summing sickness to pass. On the other hand if you do have a few wizards in play, lets say three you can use this spell to keep your advisory from playing anything on a turn where one spell could end the came, or disturbing alter the board.(I had no idea what to answer)
Professor's Response on my COLLEGE level exam:
What kind of blue deck doesn't have any wizards?
I GOT PARTIAL CREDIT!
i'm pretty sure if they can't even spell the products their selling, they just might not even now the date their shipping, but seriously speaking I doubt they're shipping before the 2nd.
I was the noob that sold 8x Tarmogoyf to my card store for $16
I was the noob that moved 100 miles away from home to go to a college where NO one plays magic and the nearest source of cards is 30 miles away, I did this fully knowing my addiction to this game.
I was the noob that lost to my finance in the final round of a local tournament when I didn't realize that Jareth could use his ability to get protection from my mono black deck.(How we met, in hindsight I don't care I lost, I'm getting married to a female magic player (sorry to other female players)
This goes back to the Planar Chaos Prerelease, It was really late before me pod started, so a bunch of people dropped out, and I was left with only the serious players. I had fought hard with my Red-Green aggro deck, Jaya and my greater Gargadon had led me to victory in the first round.
Yet I was struggling against this opponent, he had been casting some pretty big creatures and I was having problems keeping up, I thought It was over when he threw down Vorosh, the Hunter. I looked at my cards, my Gargadon had four counters on it, and everything else I had on the field wouldn't be able to stop this final obsticale. I passed my turn. Of course he declared attackers I only had five life left, and this was his final strike, but while tapping his massive beast I caught a look at the coverted mana cost of the creature 3GUB, Vorosh was a blue permenant, I looked down at my Jaya, instead of using her for her final bomb and tying the game, I just tapped one mountain and blew up the giant flying beatstick. I almost declared defeat if I hadn't notice that Vorosh was blue I would have lost the round, I went on to thrash him with my beast and I went 4-0 in the Planar Chaos Prerelease. Good bless burn.
I play strictly Casual and have a blast, yet I found that my latest deck run $250 So yeah I find that just playing Casual doesn't mean that its bad, Casual just allows for a slower more laid back take to it so some people can pull off the more entertaining combos and game play. Like attacking someone for 15,000 and then on their turn they gain 5,000 life. I think thats just a blast trying to destroy them.
But more on task, I do find that Casual gets rather expensive, I mean we play with the same cards everyone else does, but thats just the price of the game I supose, and as long as I can still make money off it, I'm going to keep buying and selling.
I personally love this sort of deck, and have used my Mono White Knights to win tournaments and games a like, one thing I have found is that Leonin Skyhunter the 2/2 for WW with Flying is a house, I use 4x. Also I've learned that these many creatures a nice pumper works well.
I use Crusade, but I also play in a prodminatly Black envirnomnet, a much better opition would be Glourious Anthem.
The next thing I learned in my testing of my deck which is very similiar is that single Auras aren't really all that useful, or at least weren't that useful for me.
As for the deck it looks good to me, but I would add White Knights if I could(My girlfriend had a playset:p) so I don't know how hard it would be to find any.
Now I don't know how well this might work in other circles but my White Deck loves using the Pentarch Paladin, naming white with 8.5 Tails, and then use the tails with Haazda Sheildmate for general defense against big fatties, and in case of large swarms(the main problem I've had problems with is Swarm) Now short of running defensive stuff like Ghostly Prison there is always Wrath, and if thats not in your budget theirs the Austre Command, not as affective in cost, but useful all the same. I use Seht's Tiger and Dust Elemental for a stall tactic until I can draw what I need to end the rain of enemies(So many SAPROLINGS!)
Some Lifegain wouldn't hurt I run too beacons of immortality, which come in handy some times, but don't normally help unless I have some sort of bleeder.
Finnnaly and probably my most unusal tactic is to use Darien. if I have my Crussades out and let someone attack for some ammount that doesn't take too much life I tend to pull multiple 3/3 to 4/4 for a massive attack on the next turn, but thats always a risky move.
I hope my advice in the building of my White deck aids you in yours my key suggestions would be Leonin Skyhunter, and Gloruious Anthems.
OKay I was looking at the Gatherer and Wizards, just updated it to include shadowmoor, I don't know if this has been posted or is even relevant, but I thought people should know all the same.
I love the feel of Din, its just a beautiful card and I can't wait to pick up a playset, *prays for it to be a casual card* I'm tired of spending so much money every set for cards, and Shadowmoor looks to the worst set so far...*sighes* i can't wait!
Morsel theft was a very good idea, Now I just have one more question, I am thinking of adding Cloudseeder, just as another source of Faerie tokens, could I get peoples thoughts on whether or not this is a good or bad idea?
My favorite card would have to be cryptic command, but if I had to really think about it I would sat Eight and a half tails gets an honorable mention. Love that crazy fox.

As for co host- Dom no question.

Thats my Two Cents.
The writing in my opinion is fantastic and I have loved reading this poem and eagerly look forward to your next piece.
BrassmanARW, you are a thesaurical madman.
Keep it up.
The look and feel of the giant is very red, and very interesting, I think this would be sick with stuff like tremor and fire whip.
I can't wait for Shadowmoor!
