I traded for a Time Walk that ended up being fake, and after talking with him I wanted to verify that he wasn't just scamming me with fake Power Nine so I asked him to scan his mint Time Walk.
It turns out that the two he bought in a collection were fake, and I guess from the replies i've received that his second one was fake and he isn't running some sort of scammer operation.
Well the bottom border seems consistent with the other pictures of time walk on the internet, if that was you rmain concern.
Personally mine would be that his other time walk was a fake.
He can take a picture of it and not send you a scan, there are very cheap high quality cameras around.
I mean we are talking about an extremely extremely expensive card here, you should get a real picture of it.
Well, he's not trading it. He was just noting he bought it from a vendor. I'm going to ask for a photo though and post back.
I don't know man, it might just be the camera angle, but it looks way too dark.
It also has a weird pattern overlaying the card, I know this is just the way thet put art on cards, but you never see it as clearly as this. This is obviously different compared to other cards.
I'm just comparing it to other pictures, and I could be wrong, but I'd really suspect this of being fake.
How well do you know the person with it?
Does it have a different feel to other cards of similar age?
Can you see light through the card?
Thanks for the reply.
He says that the scanner had it come out really dark. I'm only communicating via pictures/chat so I don't have a feel to go by.
He picked it up from SCG about a two years ago (supposedly).
His other time walk ended up being fake, and this is another he showed me that seemed a lot more real. The only concerns I have are the non-strait border around the bottom portion.
We do not KNOW that these will be put back on the website. That is the speculation since the item hasn't been completely removed. We also have, unfortunately, no idea when, or in what quantity.
The better question is this
Will we see a FULL restock (I.E. the planeswalkers and the other 5 sold out items) all at once? Or item by item? How many total are being cancelled and restocked? are there ones out there that perhaps can be swapped for one of the other sold out exclusives? Anyone have an answer to that last question?
You should really read the thread before rehashing already answered questions.
Due to people who placed more than one order having their orders cancelled, more of these will be available.
Now will that be tonight? tomorrow? sometime this week? no one knows.
Will these even be available online, or will they be sold off some other way? Again, no one knows. All you can do is wait and pray, just like the original allotment.
They are being sold online and on the phone simultaneously.
Those that had multiple orders still have yet to hear anything about order cancellations or shipping. My best guess is that nothing will happen until next week.
9:30 am PST seems to be a good time to start checking.
I've been waking up at 5:00 AM PST since they open at 8:00 AM EST. I sure hope I can grab one. I would check at all times, there really isn't a pattern to follow after only one listing.

Basically. Also, ways to test if the other cards are fake because the first ancestral recall (also identified as fake) passed the water and bend test.

Looking for a second opinion.

Yeah. But you have to refresh the site to know when they are being sold, which is the main issue.

* It can happen at any hour on any day
* It can take up to 5-6 days
* No one has yet to receive a cancellation notice / confirmation number. When that happens they will be relisted?
Do they update/work during the weekends?
