i vote for therestless. i would also like to put my second as feastofthedead i jest think to play and to use the ability it should cost more and it should be a legend.
i don't think mine is good enof but the one that makes it so they don't transform looked realy good all i think is it needs to be a legend and both to play and its ability should cost more for something that strong
@brengera: if this was a card and i had it i would run werewolfs cause they are great when flipped but its hard to keep them that way. i would probably make it a legend though with that ability and boost the cost a smij
Remember this needs to be designed as a printable card, not just something to check off your wishlist. Mono-black werewolves are probably out of the question.
in that case i think adding a G or R and one would make it printable keeping the black because of the vampness
I don't think we should be messing with creature types; the traditional Werewolf is the richest in flavour. We don't need to reinvent the wheel.
The part where we should be creative is in the ability. What ability or mechanic can set this Werewolf apart from the rest? Why would you play 4 of this Werewolf in your deck over any other one?
i dont think there is any were wolf worth 4 in a deck really maybe 2 or 3 tops and messing with the type of creature allows for injection of ability's like lifelink, deathtouch, undying, flying and so on.
@feastofthedead i dont think that works cause you need to be aware there is a full moon then you transform but zombies aren't aware of anything but where the next meal is
Its an interesting idea but traditionally Vampires could not be affected by lycanthropy and vice versa.

@feastofthedead: only really makes since if you make it a demon werewolf which i think is a little imbalanced
i don't know if you go on the wiki and hit planewalkers there are a lot of them and most don't have much story to them

the reason i went with vampire is because humans are the only ones so far and vampires are a closest creature to them. Its ability are very much a vampire with a werewolf's fury.
the mana cost is a little last thought here any ideas for improvements.
First off, I know that fighting isn't a black mechanic but I hope that this can be overlooked in this case if not, sugestions for what to replace it with are welcome.
Secondly, I'm not entirely satisfied with the flavor text. Any sugestions and/or advice in this area would very much be apreciated.
i don't think the fight thing is an issue since black is supposed to steal its ability from the other colors like lifelink was white and was stolen by black.
as far as ability i would probably add that it can also add humans in like it can change if there is a human put into play as well and can kill humans the same way

transformed:
"when did you replace the head priest you monster" last words of the archbishop of the sanctuary
the new planes walker is good but i hope since they are revisiting an old plane with the next block they revisit a couple since a lot of them have great stories like the planes walkers

the whisper one she makes you sac on your upkeep and makes me revive on mine. also swampwalk on a 6/6
moon spear and sheldred are bull when played together
