Not to be rude, but you shouldn't really examine the value of a Planeswalker based on their ultimate. 99 times out of 100 you will probably win or the planeswalker will die before you can ultimate.
Almost all the planeswalkers have amazing ultimates if you can pull them off. Does that mean they are all amazing cards? Not particularly.
That's not 100% what I meant to say
You know, tapping a card every turn is excellent, then getting an optional draw power is even better... This field happens every game, hopefully:
Tamiyo + Gideon (Gideon not Needed)
Geist of Saint Traft + either Sword or Angelic Destiny
No offense to snapcaster, but do you guys see the list? Tamiyo, and gideon..... I shouldn't have to say more. Also, tamiyo's ultimate is outrageous and surpasses what snapcaster can do (although when it happens, half or more of the spells will be in grave already xD) IMO, personally, I like tamiyo over snapcaster....
Delver isn't about to rotate. I still think 4 Tamy is wrong, I'd say that even more firmly of 4 tamy, 2 gideon and a frost in main board with 24 land and only 4 ponder for draw. I think you're going to find games where you have big dudes and no mana to cast them
Still want to know why you have a Destiny in your sideboard, perfect sense in mainboard as a win con, but sideboard= answers to other decks, in what way is it an answer it's just a way of winning.
I still want to get away from delver.... as I said a few times now.
4 Tamiyo is waaaay better then 2 or 3, and to let you know, 24 land works fine.... even with big drops and only ponder for draw power
4 Tamiyo, after testing today, is necessary, at 3 I never draw it.
Delver, no, its about to cycle (along with some cards in my deck) and I built this to keep a delver like deck, but get away from delver at the same time.... and angelic destiny is sometimes needed as a 3 of instead of 2, so I side the 3rd
Made a few updates after testing, and so far this deck is just a monster, its only weaknesses are in the first 3-4 turns
With the tripple of Snag, Ponder, Leak I'd recommend running snap caster mage.
I'm quite unsure about Tamiyo as a 4 of, how often do you want to see her, you can't play her too early, and even as the game moves on a deck like this isn't often going to want to tap out.
Looking at the board, what's the Angelic destiny there for would be my first question.
Tamiyo at 4, mainly for consistency. I want to see at least 1 of her every game, so I run 4 to guarantee that.
Thought about snapcaster, but he ended up not in the build.
Angelic Destiny + Geist of Saint Traft = Good Game, Angelic Destiny + Frost Titan = OMG, Angelic Destiny + Invisible Staalker = 1/4 Life Gone Every Turn, do I need to continue?
I used to run UR Delver, so I liked the feel of having half/half, aggro and control. I knew I wanted to use some sort of planeswalker too. So, after having little experience in deck building in MTG, I sat at my locals yesterday and worked hard on this build. Then got a couple friends to look it over. We all determined that the mainboard looked solid, just needs some work on the sideboard. Any help would be much appreciated, but try not to "change" the deck much. (In the end, I want it to play the same, just better.)
I do have a wolf run deck, with only wolf creatures, its extremely budget and strong, also, I think id rather make a tempered steel or some sort of control
Im switching from yugioh to magic, just started recently, and have done 2 drafts, got nothing good, and want to know a good budget deck that would be good for me to learn on. I was thinking UB Control, or Mono Black Control.

^ This is pretty much how I win all my games ^
I may do this for the sideboard:
-1 Nihil Spellbomb
-2 Ratchet Bomb
+3 Faith's Shield
