First, the light spreads around an area, and a feather from a wing should not be 100% opaque, so we could easily have a part of the wing that brights more than others, and because of thickness and quantity of elements, it's most likely to be the borders.
Second, the light feathers overrides a shadowed wall. Question of perspective, since if you look on the edges of the rooftops of the houses, you will see the lighter edges, the same way we see in the wings. Now that you pointed it, surely looks a little weird, but after those two points, I guess that there is nothing abnormal on it.
Electrolyze kinda seals the deal on Dack being R/B, which is sad because I was really rooting for Ral Zarek in AVR...
We haven't had any planeswalkers in red and blue in Innistrad, and we could be gifted with some. I'd a love Ral Zarek appearance.
Although, we had 2 planeswalkers in Innistrad, is there any possibility we see another two in Avacyn Restored? New Phyrexia had one, but, I don't know if that makes any sense.
Kinda like the gods from shadowmoor/eventide? Two of my favorite sets and I would love to see something like that again. I am not sure if that will happen though, as the signs aren't especially obvious and wizards is usually very heavy-handed with this type of thing, a la "Hey guys I'm making a cycle" or "Hey guys look at this art of tezzeret i wonder what that's for."
You tell me about it, one of the biggest regrets on my nerdy life was missing the Shadowmoor prerelease that gave the foil alternative (yet suggestive) art for Demigod of Revenge. I swear I could make a deck just for that card. Good memories...
At first, more legends would be just nice. Gisa as black, Geralf as blue (or blue and black, why not?), then the enemy color ones. Avacyn being BW, like Syphon suggested, Tovolar himself (dunno the storyline enough to know if he is alive), etc. The lore has many many main characters and yet so little cards for them.
Anyway, I hope there's gonna be some crazy stuff happening in AVR!
You want crazier stuff than making "Scourge-without-Elves" or "Alara Reborn-without-multicolored"?
Yes, I'm one of that guys that are disappointed before ANY spoilers. It's just a balance on the excitement I had on Dark Ascension. And now, no DFCs, probably a set that is seems too different from the original Innistrad (hence the lack of DFCs and werewolves - They could have carried the cards like that until the last set, because there will always be unsatisfied players on something, and another ones that would love anything).
I just have my hopes on the cards being playable, otherwise I'll have to do another flavor deck to fit the prerelease beauties. WotC needs to realise that is kind of a mistake to print 50 cent rare cards in the parties are nothing but something that drives away the players. I missed the Dark Ascension event without regret, and my LGS was pretty empty and the interest over Ravenous Demon was almost void and null at the point that I got two from my friends at no fare. I don't see any of the ISD block Prerelease/Launch cards seeing any play in any kind of competitive format, which is really really sad. First you have a nice foil Emrakul and Wurmcoil, then you have to just accept Mayor of Avabruck for the bucks you pay to be in the event...
My calls are on Moonsilver Spear being another equipment that bonuses humans, but maybe with new mechanics or such, since MaRo says that when a prerelease card isn't a creature, it is meant to focus on new keyword or mechanics. Silverblade Paladin could be a white human creature, like everyone here predicted, that will have a flavor text/art mentioning Thraben or Gavony, and nothing else.
Not a cycle of Dragons, no. However Hellkite Overlord is from a cycle of 5 uber creatures representing their wedge, in this case Jund.
Not just it. Nicol Bolas himself is part of a cycle. And in other FtV sets, there is Sword of Body and Mind (mega-mega cycle of Mirran swords / Relics), Doran (Legends in Lorwyn / Legends), Oona (Legends in Shadowmoor / Legends), and some others aswell. Nothing stops a card from a cycle from being printed in this.
Hugo got an Oscar on cinematography. Can someone explain to me how?
It's one of the most teal&orange movies I've ever seen.
Oscar is not a reference for good movies or such. One could claim it is a prize for being famous, for wasting lots of money or scoring big on box office.
While he might look more bad arse in the first one he was nothing more than a teenager wearing a mask to look cool.
Except that his helmet was actually functional on his machine. I don't know about the happenings after that... I guess he uses it to teletransport or something, I'm not into storyline this much to tell you how it works.
The thing is that I find the planeswalker version a better card. Being a planeswalker surely makes it more versatile and useful, but this isn't an always (I like to think that Jaya Ballard is better than Chandra, for example. Atleast it's more likely for you to see in my decks Jaya than Chandra). While the TSP version is pretty much a french vanilla, the planeswalker is a card that can be the base of a deck, along with blinks and "deal damage to a player".
My problem with it being a "monster hating creature" is that it would be quite useless in a draft, as there are no werewolves in AVR. Or are there, and they just don't transform?
AVR drafts go AVR-AVR-AVR, I think. Not sure, tho.
Atleast it's good to know that I don't live in the only place where MSRP is way too off. LGSs here sell the FTVs for a little more (there is a cost that is extra because of the importers and our very high taxes, but some are even cheaper than the said ones here)
True I could see Silverblade being a new order of knights formed by Avacyn or something, maybe moonsilver being a new metal that has properties that fight the monsters of that plane.
Or maybe they really blew up the moon. Just blame it on Ludevic already.
My guess is no different from yours: A creature (uhhh duhh) that is a natural Werewolf/Vampire hoser/hate. Could fit in ISD block decks, atleast in sideboards (I feel like Elite Inquisitor being maindeck even in regular soldier decks - it is a Kazandu with it's own block matters and a stronger body -, but don't know about this one, and will know only when we have spoilers), but wouldn't be totally useless.
What worries me is the fact that I feel like Innistrad have more cards that hate things on set (zombies and vampires, for example) than usual other sets,
and that makes me think that we could have one of those tribes in next block. But that's speculation and I'm posting in wrong place.
I would really hope to see the double-land Badlands, Tropical Island, et cetera cycle; they would make for an excellent set of cards to reprint. However, there are ten of them, and that would take up ten spaces, so I don't see that happening.
Reserved list. Wouldn't make anyway; again, more than 300 USD in a 39 USD pack.
I wouldn't be surprised if they don't include Wasteland. It's not a "realm" for planeswalkers wanting to visit.
100+ USD card on a 39 USD product? Seems legit. Would be the first singles seller strike in the world. Then the next FTV: black border Power 9.
Very unlikely, very unlikely. If they put Karakas, I'll be more than amused (it's not on reserved list, it could be reprinted. I first thought as judge, but atleast won't be this year, so, it could be an opportunity. But I feel like it won't be).
EDIT: Mea culpa, I was looking at the Wasteland Reward prices, I know it isn't 100 USD already. But I don't change my mind on it being printed. Besides, I don't choose the cards that will be printed, so, my opinion on that is irrelevant.

I was looking the price for the judge version ones. *facepalms hard and forth*
