Well i have played around with maze's end un Modern and i tried severel versions.
I play a R/G/U list atm playing 2 gates each, 3 maze's end as the main plan. But 1 pithing needle stops this. So i tried to build in a secondary wincon. I play molten vortex and life from the loam. Also aggressive Mining is a beast and paired with splendid reclamation is gold.
I will give you a full list later, when i am not on my phone.
Well yes and no.
The answer to that question depends on which kind of strategy you prefer.
If you want an all in combo strategy, the Paradox engine is sure as hell in the list. If you play a grindier version it may not see play.
The archetypes of the dice shell in the discord chat are marked as:
1 - Paradox combo
2 - stompy
3 - scepter combo
4 - thopter sword
5 - toolbox prison(list from gp prague; played by Camillo Lukesh)
Hi, nice idea. You could use an U/R version with faithless looting to filter cards to your grave and maybe use trash for treasure to get gearhulk out faster. Pentad prism to ramp and later sacrifice for trash... Could be fun to play
Playing the things we want is not the issue most of the times because we charge our rocks up quite fast so the impact of sculptor is not worth it in my opinion.
He is also a creature with a small body which dies to all kinds of removal, but where coretapper can sac itself for even more game impact, sculpter can not.
It also depends on the build, so in mine, i play lots of planeswalker which arent affected by sculptor.
Well I guess that is just part of the game.
There will always be sideboard cards against artifacts as there will always also be hatecards against grave strategies storm or countermagic...
I personally play artifact/ enchantment hate myself or play cards that aren't too affected by the opponents hate cards. I play 4 natures claim
Hello there, in the Discord group there are several tournament reports, even one from a pptq or something with a nice result. The link to it should be in the opening post
The deck is quite tuned as it is, but i also think precognition Field is a good addition to the deck.
I think there was a list 1 or 2 pages agor which are quite good. Just look them up and take some ideas
I have a Tainted Remedy deck on mtgo, playing white black as colors.
Winning with Tainted remedy and Beacon of immortality
The rest is a control shell with path to exile, Anguished unmaking and some ramp cards. I draw with Read the bones and a second win condition is Approach of the second Sun.
Maybe there are some ideas you can use for your deck
