2.) As of the end of 2000 season, the most RBI's hit in two consecutive games was 15, set by what player?

Tony Lazzeri. Sammy Sosa came awfully close driving in 14 over two days in Colorado in '00.

Okay, so I did a little searching, and yes, in fact, Puzzle did claim to have a dream about President Bush.

Hum, I won't post much before Monday but I have been role-blocked. It may or may not mean that I have an ability, but there was a huge shadow around my house. I also seem to have had had a dream about president Bush.

Has anyone been blocked night 1 in a similar fashion ?

This seems a little weird, because one would think this would be the recruiting mechanism, not something the cult leader would have happen to him. OTOH, of course, this could be his "Cunning Plan" to have let his members know who he is.

It looks like from his post he was "blocked" night 2, checking to see if anyone else had been "blocked" night 1.

    Where there's this:

I could be lying about it, but wouldn't the person who was roleblocked by the shadow on Night 1 come forward to point me out as scum? That hasn't happened because I was blocked Night 1.

Is LJustus a recruit, too? Is it possible that we have a different cult leader out there, and C_F is lying about returning to normal townie status? Could be. We very well could have just killed a cultist, and not the leader. Is C_F the leader?

I'm with Axelrod on this "Argh! Too much input!"

Going to do a quick scan back through the thread, but didn't we have some people claim to have had a dream about George Bush? Was that Puzzle- does anyone remember?

    Also, just as a reference:

I'm the Booker, and at the beginning of the game I got to know the amount of win conditions and the original sizes of the separate win condition groups. The numbers were as follows: 1, 1, 2, 5, 17. As there isn't a group of 4 sharing a win condition, AD is lying.

There's the list, so we don't all have to go back through the thread to find it like I just did. Smile

I've been playing since Ice Age, but didn't really start drafting until Mirage. Then I took a break after Darksteel up until Ravnica. I pretty much just draft exclusively now, and do so online.

I actually got the chance to play Boros last night on MTGO. I opened a Sacred Foundry in my first pack and said, what the heck. I think you're right, Dimir Impersonator, everyone on MTGO tries to play it. I won my first two rounds, BOTH against R/W/x decks. One was R/W/U, the other R/W/G, and I was relatively unimpressed by both. The server crashed after the first two rounds, so I didn't get to play my finals game, which sucks, because it would have been against an old college buddy of mine I haven't heard from in months. (Talk about weird!)

Anyhow, I ended up with something like this:

It was fun to play, but I really would've liked to have seen it play against some other decks.

Bat, do you play on MTGO, or at a local store? I ask because I never seem to see any Boros cards come my way in draft on MTGO, and I'm just curious if that's some sort of anomaly. I'd like to give it a shot sometime, but I'm usually flooded with Blue and Green cards, making the decision always come down to Dimir or Golgari, for the most part. I'm able to grab good black removal early in the packs, and rely on the secondary color for the base of my deck.

Glaze has to be in a deck supported by many creatures, which can be hard to do for Dimir, agreed. I've been fortunate enough to be the only Dimir deck (as far as I could tell based on the absurd amount of blue passed my direction) in a couple of drafts on MTGO and been pretty much able to sculpt a deck at will.

Totally agree about the flexibilty of black. I have a hard time taking anything other than a black removal spell when it's in my first pack, obviously, and like Janelle, plan to play it often.

@Puzzle: /sigh. I had my vote on him before and replaced it after his weak claim. I'm just as curious as you are about CPE's information (#526), but history shows he's not very active and we may be here a week waiting for his input. Can we be sure everyone's going to sit here and not post until CPE shows up? If the day ends when RafaelK's post count gets reached (which we don't know), then we lose him and CPE both (should the mafia off him in the night without protection). I'll unvote: WOLG, but I'm not going to be thrilled if the above occurs. I'm done posting until we hear from CPE.

Good point. Unfortuneately, my claim will not help put aside any suspsions of me, becase I am: The Jock. take note of my posts: http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showpost.php?p=571807&postcount=261
As well as my posts 248 attempting to get people to look more towards the outcasts instead of a group of jocks, because there is no group. I'm the vig. I doubt there is an SK at this point, I've mostly been doing their job for them, because there has only been 2 kills at night...I realize now that after reading though a few other games that the vig should almost never kill night one...which was a very bad call on my part. Sorry Chamber.

Well, that's interesting. JC and Az both died night 2, and I have to assume based on the deathscene that you took out Azreal, as well. The blood of two townies on your hands certainly doesn't look good, and this could be your ploy to survive as the SK by claiming town Vig. Not the safest plan, for certain, but 6 votes on your head calls for a desperation ploy, perhaps. Killing someone with the Vig ability before the first day has even broken makes no sense to me. It certainly makes sense if you're in fact the SK.

    Vote: WOLG.

Someone was commenting on Bottled Cloister a few pages back. I've played with it a couple times, and against it once. (It must be following me, too!)

Had it in a B/U evasion-style Dimir deck and it was very, very good both times.

The poor guy I played against that had it was when I was playing Golgari and packed main-deck artifact/enchantmenr removal. He dropped it on turn four, and I promptly blasted it on my turn. His hand was removed from game, and he couldn't recover.

The Cloister needs to be used in a low casting-cost, creature heavy deck, I think, and is NOT a good turn 4 play against any deck capable of destroying it. It's a mid-to-late game card that essentially should read, draw 2 cards that you're going to play this turn.

Against decks incapable of destroying it, it's just insanely good.
    __________________________________________________________

I'm finding on MTGO drafts that people are afraid to play Dimir because they only think of it as the milling style. As several people have alluded to before, it's a solid evasion deck with fliers and fear critters galore, and the best removal in the set. Halcyon Glaze is just nuts if you can grab one.

I'm finding Golgari to be the most fun to play, however, as it can compete with each guild and makes you use the old noggin' every now and then. Smile

I do have role based information that does make Ljustice look scummy. The other post was just a post for my thoughts on the game (even though it doesnt look like people really care all that much about it)

    EEK! EEK! EEK!

In light of this, I'd like to hear from CPE, and quickly. Our post count for the day is getting high.

Would some people please remove their votes or change them to FOSes so that I can't be spontainiously lynched?

I'll oblige, WOLG, and any revelant information you might have, such as a claim, would probably be good to hear.

    Unvote WOLG. FoS: WOLG.
