2.) Who set a record for being the oldest player in history to get a hit in a regular season game at the age of 53?
I was tempted to say Julio Franco, but he's not quite that old.
Isn't it a little early to be advocating a lynch today? Everyone's pretty much confused. On top of that on a guy who can't even post in his own defense?
Also, I stumbled across some interesting posts while re-reading the thread today:

Axelrod is spot on in his #255, imo. The SK typically goes for unprotected / low profile townies, while the Mafia goes for high-profile players, cops, etc... This is the way the kills usually split and we are exactly in this pattern, which means :
- a non-newbie SK, who should now begin to work for us, seeing the Mafia advance.
- JCS's kill was more likely to be from a random SK than for his ideas.
Here in post #258, Puzzle, the presumed cultist, praising Axel and piggybacking on the following from post #255:

No disrespect intended to JCSuperstar, who played a fine game, but I seriously doubt that he was killed because of his "plan" to investigate Crippled Fist, or his support of LJustus. Strikes me as more of a "random" kill by SK on someone unlikely to get protected. I think you are probably wasting your time with that, bat.
This made good sense at the time. But now of course we know that Puzzle didn't want C_F investigated because Fist tells us he was a cult member at the time. Big deal, right?
Look at the last line. Bateleur, after doing a PBPA of JC's posts here in post #252, had brought some information back into light about why he might have been killed- namely that he wanted C_F investigated. This had gone virtually forgotten until Bateleur brought it up again. Bateleur being silenced today seems awfully coincidental after Puzzle was found dead. FoS: Crippled_Fist. Something's not adding up.
Bonus) The Secret Garden
Bonus: Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone

Minnie Minoso
2.) In 1986, who became the oldest pitcher in history to throw a shutout?
I believe this was Phil Niekro?
2.) Carlton Fisk's dramatic late inning home run gave the Red Sox a needed world series victory. Who was the other team in the game?
Easiest one for me yet, I live right across the river.
It was Game 6 of the '75 World Series against the Cincinnati Reds.
Edit: The Reds would recover to win game 7.
