In my experience, using both Urza lands and Locus lands will eventually get messy.
You'll end up drawing different types of lands almost every turn, which compared to a potential 7 mana turn 3 (Urza), or 9 turn 3 (Locus) matters a great deal.
Change them out with Mishra's factory or something similar.
Well, firstly you'll have to ask the question.
If then the question is submitted in the wrong section of the site, the admins usually just move your post.
It looks good, I don't think you need Brainstorm, I'd run Preordain instead. I also would stress again not to run Talarand, Sky Summoner, there's much better stuff that can fit in that slot.
I guess Talarand, sky summoner isn't the best fit in this deck, but as I've mentioned before, it was there when I had my Isochron scepters
But I guess it's their time to go to another deck.
Academy Ruins and Tolaria West is going on the wishlist right away, in exchange for the Buried ruin.
I don't know how I feel to simply cut out the creature base with "Land creatures",
but I'm certail I will add at least 2x Celestial Colonnade, if not more in the future. Throwing away the Frost titan for sure..
Currently I got 24 lands, plus Sol ring and Lotus Petal, so utility is my last options
First things first,
I usually don't play with Planeswalkers. There's nothing wrong with them, by all means (they rock actually!), but I've chosen to boycott them for now (Somewhat of an Old school player).
But thanks for the tips.
And you're right. Enlightened tutor does not belong in the deck anymore. I used to play them when I had Isochron scepter to play with. But as I earlier mentioned, I'm trying to move away from that theme.
So in exchange, I traded it out with 4 Ponders.
I could'nt agree more on the boardsweepers. I'm usually lucky enough to either draw a board cleaner, or tutor it up with Mystical tutor. But you can never be too safe.
The lands are added i my Online basket, and will be bought as soon as I get the moneh. It's just a bit expencive, so I have been stalling that buy for quite some time.
Added some more controll, Dissipate, because, as you mentioned, the other one was not quite budget
I also chose to keep my Talaran, sky summoners. It's true they get targeted fast, but If I get a good play with them, it's just gold.
And since Wurmcoil engine is good at any deck basiclly, I've chosen to add 2 more of him instead.
Tell me what you think,
and please add more ideas if you have any
So this is my current Demigod of revenge deck. But the only thing I'm sort of struggling with is which mana boos I'd prefer. Dark ritaul is awesome for that quick dark ritual on the first turn, but I sort of feel Culling the weak would do a lot better late game.
Does anyone have any experience with this?
I guess it all depends on playstyle,
But I might aswell ask the pro's
I've based most of my cards around Demigod of revenge, so I can fetch him up most of the time.
For my creature base I simply chose reassembling skeleton and Bloodghast, mainly to sac with diabolic intent.
and 1 turn later, I can do the same business all over again as I've fetched them up to the battlefield.
Christmas has passed and the girlfriend is gone forever (hopefully ), and I find myself in a situation where I have lot of money and time to spare.
Someone recognize the situation ?
Anyway, I want to make my Demigod of revenge work to its best potential.
The main idea of it is to use Buried alive to fetch up 3 of them, and throw them right away in the graveyard, and later cast the last of them.
Pow! 20 flying damage.
I've tried this deck a few times, and some times it works perfectly!
Just, mind blowingly good. Meaning I get out my Isochron Scepter / Silence fairly fast.
But the only thing I'm still uncertain of is my creature base. Is it enough? Do I need new creatures, more creatures, less creatures?
The purpose of the deck is mainly to annoy the opponent... But I have to admit I like winning as well. And what isn't more fun winning with an annoying deck? Heh..
as a lot of people mentioning above me, It's all about your group.
And in time, as your playgroup develops. You will quickly make rules.
In my group for instance, I am able to use 4 tinkers in a single deck (On the promise that I don't use Blightsteel colossus.)
But I am not allowed to use more than 1 sol ring
So this is my semi budget tinker deck.
just so we don´t misunderstand each other here, this is still a deck still in testing, meaning I will probably do a lot of changes to it as you fine people
suggest potential changes to it.
I wanted to make a deck circulating around Tinker, doing great in vintage. Then I realized if I were to make a great deck in vintage, I should probably have Show and tell.
but unfortunately, God made me a Scrooge McDuck, and 50$ for 1 card is a bit expensive for my budget.
As you can see, I have let a lot of power to get up tinker.
If I don`t get it in my starting hand, I can get it through Demonic tutor, Mystical tutor, Vampiric Tutor or Drift of phantasms.
Getting that Blightsteel colossus out quick as possible. if that should not work, as it is counterspell`ed or similar, I have Archaeomancer and Kuldotha Forgemaster as a backup.
If by any means NOTHING should get through, I have put in a Feldon`s Cane for backup for the backup.
I`m not sure about the Draw base yet, as I wondered to take either thoughcast or Preordain or similar.
But for now I choose thoughcast.

It first started out as a Isochron scepter deck, combining cards such as counterspell, Silence ,Swords to plowshare, and to top the madness off, Curse of Exhaustion .
I mainly made the deck purely to annoy my MTG group, but after 1 and a half year, I believe they've suffered enough.
So this is what I sitting with:
1 Wurmcoil engine
2 Talarand, Sky summoner
1 Consecrated sphinx
1 Frost titan
Removal/Control 12:
1 Day of judgment
1 Supreme Verdict
3 Oblivion ring
3 Swords to plowshare

Land 24:
2 Ancient tomb
1 Vesuva
1 Ghost quarter
2 Buried ruin
1 Hollowed fountain
4 Glacial fortress
1 Skycloud expanse
5 Plains
7 Island
keep in mind that I've removed 4x Silence and 4x Isochron scepter
So, trying to eliminate the "Scepter" theme, how can I improove my deck as it stands now?
Hopefully, it's not awfull
Lots of thanks
