I guess it's nice for spellslinger decks. Having 7 or more cards in your graveyard feels like a weird flip condition for this(When I think self mill, I think shenanigans with creatures in the grave, not this).
With that said, looks like a nice way to improve your draws lategame for control decks if you have unused mana or run a noncreature wincon.
I'm just happy about this not being a common ocurrence outside of the US.
Think again. Here in NZ, my LGS is selling Teferi's Protection as a single for $40, and the price of that particular deck is rising. I have another LGS run by a much better guy, who only wants to do well by his friends. But he's definitely not the norm.
Oh, that sucks. Here in Spain(Or at least where I live) there are no big retail stores that sell MTG product, but most LGS have the Commander decks at MSRP(At least 1 of them ordered only the ones needed to cover reserves though). Heck, one of them was selling the Kaalia precon at MSRP 2 years ago.
Sadly I can't think of any other card involving multiple swords in the art.
For cards that could represent each of the Holopsicon Movements, I thought of these:
Representation Exposition: Sword to Plowshares is the obvious choice. Since the ability involves revising story, you could use Crib Swap to revise any creature into a changeling.
Great list. Really like the No Mercy approach for Vicissitudes of Fortune. The card is on theme with flavor too, thanks, XD. Sad that there are only 2 cards I can think of for Mindslaver effects, and without blue they are hard to recur. Unless I run Emrakul 2.0?
You have Mindslaver, Emrakul 2.0, Worst Fears and Sorin Markov's ultimate. For pseudo Mindslavers, you also have Cruel Entertainment and Word of Command. If you want to recur these effects Emrakul is the only real choice in Mardu, but Cruel Entertainment fits more with the theme.
Depends on what you want to do with the deck. Tasigur feels more suited to control and combo decks while Sidisi focuses more on graveyard synergies and zombie tribal.
Not sure if I like him more than Licia as a commander. He's more straightforward but more control-based, while Licia is just a cheap beatstick that will almost always have a low mana cost.
