Goblin Welder sounds good with Chainer. Discard a big artifact before your turn, then discard the welder in your turn and play it with Chainer's effect to give it haste and get your big artifact.
Got to play 2 games with Xantcha yesterday. Won the first game by bull*****ting my way through it with politics, then killed everyone with Heartless Hidetsugu and a Fireball. In the second game I got hated out quite quickly, although I was close to comboing. Overall, it feels like a nice deck for lower power tables, although the "Voltron Xantcha up" plan didn't work out. I want to try a more group hug/slug approach and see how it works out.
Its nice to see a simic commander that doesn't draw cards. Having some ramp in your command zone that eventually will beat someone with Commander damage sounds very cool. Make it unblockable with Thassa for extra flavor points.
So I've been playing Sidisi for quite a while but never posted in this thread.
My build is more centered on playing a Living Death and combo out from there(Or just win thanks to an overwhelming board presence), and besides expensive cards I'm not sure how to improve the deck further. The deck is already fast enough for my playgroup(Turn 5 kills when the stars align are fun) so I want to focus on lowering my curve and having more interaction.
This deck was born out of a need to force people to run graveyard hate, and I don't mind being that weak to it. Any suggestions?
Stuffy Doll was the rare I pulled on my first MTG booster pack, and one of the cards that made me fall in love with the game. While I don't put it in decks as a random 1-of anymore, I still have the card stored away, waiting for me to make a deck that can use it.
I once saw someone flashing this in to play Iname, Death Aspect from their library in response to another player casting Living Death. Sadly it was the only time I saw it being played. This card simply has way too many restrictions and high mana cost to be useful.

Sure, it's not an expensive card, but I'm still glad to see it reprinted here.
At least Event decks are back, I had a lot of fun playing with some of these.
It's actually the Millenium Puzzle.
