A little background, our playgroup likes to build budget decks around a $35 price limit and we encourage each other to build decks around interesting themes/combos.
I am trying to make a Wizard deck that doesn't revolve around the usual Patron Wizard, Voidmage Prodigy counter everything type of deck. That type of deck is also out of the price range.
The deck is a bit of a personal homebrew revolving around a sort of time wizard theme, meant to efficiently manipulate both turns through bounce and card draw.
The idea is that Training Grounds reduces the cost of all of my wizard's abilities (including that of Diviner's Wand) and has especial synergy with Kaho, Minamo Historian letting me cast essentially free Rewind or Time Stop and Linessa, Zephyr Mage giving me really cheap bounces . With all the the counters and drawing I felt [CARD]Steady Progress[CARD] would mesh nicely.
The potential card list is stuff that I have considered for the deck but am not sure what to make room for.
Not sure about Ghave. He is a maybe until I can figure out what I want to thin out for him.
Debating between the Sprout Swarm or maybe the Hunting Wilds as I am a bit spell heavy. The thing is Hunting Wilds fixes most of my mana issues as it searches for Murmuring Bosk and Sprout Swarm allows me to get free saprolings which equate to free uses of my Thallid abilties and a Baru trigger.
Added Ghave, and Oran-Rief, the Vastwood. I think my mana curve might be to high right now.
