posted a message on Lore Wise...Who are the strongest Planeswalkers?

It's also unlikely, given the inspiration of the gods, that they would all collectively work together to combat the enemy, either. Each of them is fickle, selfish and meddling with long histories of rivalries and allies, etc. that there's no telling how the Theros pantheon would respond to such threats. The Eldrazi were proven capable of being ended with leylines and enough mana - both of which the gods of Theros can control there with ease. Nylea could easily serve as Nissa, and Purphoros could easily serve as Chandra. Thassa could hold off swarms just as Kiora did with Thassa's own Bident. Heliod already has indestructible like Gideon does. I mean a select handful of gods could take down the two titans at that rate if they were set on it.

Who says Theros has the mana to do that? We been hammered in that mana on Zendikar mana is wild and powerful, which is why the eldrazi there trapped there and why Ob went there to try and remove his curse. Theros seem pretty average in that aspect. Also it was Ugin who came up with the pattern to trap and drag in the eldrazi so it is unlikely the gods would know that specific pattern.

New Phyrexia - would corrupt and change Theros, perhaps the gods indirectly through changing the dreams of those corrupted into foul ones, but New Phyrexia isn't really a brute force sort of enemy so it's more about change than defeat.

Which means the gods would still "lose".

Bolas - Bolas plans well, but on a level of brute force he's not going to match 15 legendary immortal mages that control the entirety of a plane's mana. He might get clever in his approach, but Kruphix will immediately know everything Bolas knows upon entering the plane.

14 dude. And other have pointed out how Bolas would win against the gods. Even if Kruphix knew everything about Bolas, doesn't mean he could stop him.

I see it more like ants loosing a queen. They gonna be running around mad and confused for a while until they start coming to their scenes.

    Right. In. The. Feels!

The part where she breaks the fourth wall was really beautiful. And I love the subtext that Doug gave Sorin (total BA btw since he took out so many angels) to show his unhappiness at unmaking Avacyn. Just reading the story I felt like I lose 3 life. The series of images afterwards was very touching as well.

I wonder why we are going to Kaladesh. In Zendikar we got a hint about Innistrad with Ugin telling Jace to find Sorin.

I assume Chandra will be in this block, so What compels her to return to her home plane?

    EDIT:
The woman in the front image IS A PLANESWALKER, Saheeli Rai!!! http://dougbeyermtg.tumblr.com/post/144455878974/wizardsmagic-magic-goes-to-kaladesh-this

I really really love that Tamaiyo magic comes from stories. As someone who was't around for Kamigawa so I like seeing how the moo folk are characterized. It is also refreshing to have a planeswalker character who still has ties to their home.

It's a little confusing, because the symbol doesn't look anything like Ormendahl.

That doesn't really matter thoough. I mean Avacyn symbol doesn't look like her.

posted a message on What PW and legendary creatures would you like to see in Eldritch Moon?
I'm guessing we will get a UB zombie themed legend, WU spirit themed legend and the long awaited RG werewolf themed legend, since we got our vampire and human tribal commanders with Olivia and Sigarda respectfully.

A random UG legend would also be awesome.

Liliana will mostly be mono-black and I really don't think Tamiyo will be given a card in this block.
