New Phyrexia - would corrupt and change Theros, perhaps the gods indirectly through changing the dreams of those corrupted into foul ones, but New Phyrexia isn't really a brute force sort of enemy so it's more about change than defeat.

Bolas - Bolas plans well, but on a level of brute force he's not going to match 15 legendary immortal mages that control the entirety of a plane's mana. He might get clever in his approach, but Kruphix will immediately know everything Bolas knows upon entering the plane.

I hope none of these things make an appearance in this world because I believe it drastically impacts the flavor of the world. After all... We only just left an entire plane dominated by Bolas. I would rather not linger in yet another plot designed around him, or the Eldrazi. Ugin I'm a little more open to since we haven't seen much with him, but I fear Ugin' s appearance ensues for a Bolas or a Eldrazi appearance.

I wouldn't care at all if the eldrazi, Ugin, or Bolas were used in the story. What I do care about is WoTC story writers making Super Hero / Avengers style stories instead of ones that are more reminiscent of a good fantasy adventure. The way Bolas got defeated in Time Spiral trumps the complete stupidity with the BFZ block. Heck, I don't think anyone is going to want to remember most of these contemporary sets at this rate.
