M-E G-I double D-O
oops, i didn't read Necropolitan correctly. what is the point of it being in graveyard while on the battlefield?
You can return him from the battlefield to the battlefield with Sheoldred, Whispering One, reanimation works like Control Magic on him, it never "dies" (not sure if this is true, but I would think it wouldn't count as being "put into a graveyard from the battlefield" if it was already also in the graveyard)...If he were legendary, you could replace entering the battlefield with going to the command zone
Doesn't work. It's one way; it's not (necessarily) also on the battlefield if it's in the graveyard.
It should be in its owner's graveyard, though, not in "your" graveyard.
Not necessarily...it could be used for weird niche situations if it counts as in its controller's graveyard instead of its owner's graveyard while it is on the battlefield. I think that makes it slightly more interesting as a card.

How do you "sacrifive" something?
You can return him from the battlefield to the battlefield with Sheoldred, Whispering One, reanimation works like Control Magic on him, it never "dies" (not sure if this is true, but I would think it wouldn't count as being "put into a graveyard from the battlefield" if it was already also in the graveyard)...If he were legendary, you could replace entering the battlefield with going to the command zone

Not true...once you sacrifice it the first time and is put in your graveyard, it is only in your graveyard.
Whoops. Knew I was forgetting something. Thanks!
