Well, I had to stop playing to work on RL stuff. School, work, that kind of thing. But now I find myself with the time (read: funds) to get back into it so I thought I would get my toes in the water at least. I looked a lot at ISD in the weeks leading up to launch and it actually looked fun to me so I decided it was about that time again.
p.s. I actually wanted to get back in around the time that Scars released...but... I played when original Mirrodin rotated through type 2...so...no...just... no.

p.s. glimpse the storm is my Dimir flavor deck. Eye of the Storm+Early Harvest+Glimpse the Unthinkable= I've won a 6 player melee game on turn 7 due to milling all 5 decks in a go and letting the turn order take care of the rest.

Hey guys, I recently made a combo deck that uses Eye of the Storm and Rewind to go infinite with a Gelectrode on the field. The way I think it works is play X instant / sorcery, untap gelectrode on the stack first, followed by eye removing it. Then once eye removes it, I play X instant / sorcery again after eye spits it back out, so the question is, does the fact that I'm technically "playing" an instant / sorcery removed with eye let me untap my Gelectrode for each card removed with eye?
Also, question B:
I'm not exactly sure about timing on all those spells, at least, as it pertains to opponents casting instants in response to my stuff on eye of the storm.
For example:
I have an Electrolyze and a Shock removed with eye. I go to cast Tidings and opponent casts a counterspell.
What exactly would happen?
The rules I've read on this are still pretty vague to me.

I'm currently homeschooled (and trust me it's not all it's cracked up to be, it's B-O-R-I-N-G!!!) anyway I'm a mountain biker, hardcore gamer, and (if you haven't guessed, I play this game none of you have ever heard of, it's called Magic: the Gathering:-/ who knows about that nowadays not you guys for sure:rolleyes: .

Dude, sorry to hear that. Were you and your aunt close? How old is she? It's always sad when tragic news liek that happens, especially when it's so abrupt. Like, if you were a smoker and you got lung cancer, you cant be suprised, but when something like this happens it's even more tragic. Hope you and your family are gonna be alright.
We weren't on real close terms, but we definantly loved each other very much and we spent some time togeteher, at reunions and famil gatherings and stuff. Not exactly sure how old she is but I think it's between 40 and 50. and thanks for the support.

Oh and bad news on my end. One of my aunts just had a sever brain hemerage and is in the hospital, and is paralyzed on her left side, and has lost all motor functions. Almost my entire family is at the hospital right now looking after her. Sorry just kind of needed to get that off my chest thanks for listening, or reading, or whatever, you know what I mean.:)

Well maybe, I did try to keep it a little more simplified, and that kind of seems a little more in depth than I was really looking for, also with the hybrid symbols in the ability triger, I wanted to avoid that so it coulden't be played in mono B, or mono U, seems good though, thanks for the imput. Does anyone else have any Ideas?
Now THAT is a card. Okay, this has my vote. It's flexible, it's got a decent mana cost, transmute, and mill in either direction. Even the flavour is damned cool, though with a name beginning with The, it should be legendary. It's even elegant. I'm not sure how I'd change this; it rocks. Perhaps make the activation :symub::symub::symub: aswell. I dunno. The card as is is brilliant; I like it a lot, and can't see why Wizards wouldn't have made something so simple.

And I like the cost of the effect the way it is, it makes it at least a bit difficult to use in not BU prominent decks or coulden't be used in mono B or Mono U after all it is suposed to be an all Dimir card
I agree with SC, we're complicating this more than we have to. Our original idea was to make a card that would fit into bot a tog deck and a mill deck. Keep it simple guys, we also have to worry about winning the competition at hand, and a lot of these submissions wont get a good score because of the criteria. Remember, it has to suit the clan, it has to be balanced and it has to be able to have a deck made around it.
Yeah I guess you're right, we all did kind of go off on a tangent there kind of in a flurry of creativity, but yeah let's try to keep it simple. like,

Ok so this is pretty simple 3cc enchantment that you can mill at sorcery speed to feed a 'tog with, or transmute for 3 cc (psychatog probably.) I think it's versitile enough to build a 'Tog deck around, what do you guys think.

Legendary creature- wizard horror UUBB-Counter target spell, then that spells controler puts cards from the top of his or her library into his or her graveyard equal to it's converted mana cost
