I see no issues with a turn 1 devil. Just let it resolve than dismember it...
So i make you lose 4 life regardless? Works for me.
Also, why is ANYONE hating on this card? At worst its 4 damage for one red mana, at best he sticks around for a few turns and pounds the opponents face in for a 4/3 creature for ONE MANA.
Went 3-1, lost out to a U/W Control Deal because my sideboard was terrible.
Made a few changes for this week, taking out the birds as i have rarely to even use them for Artful Dodge, had so many games where my ghoultree would just get chumped turn after turn. Think im gonna sideboard beast within to deal with those control strategies.
Ok so could you help me with it then? Could you recommend any cards.
If you wanna keep it standard you are probably gonna have to splash red for various reasons, other vamps and the captain. But i would suggest going to the wizards gatherer, setting the card format to standard, check all three of the search card filter boxes and type in vampire.
The basic idea of the deck should be obvious, I don't like people killing my creatures, that's the biggest pet peeve i have, i hate removal, so i came up with something revolving around my favorite color combination that might work well in any situation. Virtually immune to sweepers and almost every single form of removal with increasingly big indestructible creatures to pound it right in the front door.
I think I would say the card that gives me the most nostalgia and was my favorite card back when i was a kid was Thorn Elemental, but green as a color has always been my favorite.
Black does not have miracles.
Well, it looks like every color has 3 mythics, and only 2 have been spoiled in green, so that last one might be the mythic miracle for green.
They have been consistently been pre saleing @ 34-35 on ebay.

I agree if that is true, if he really was meant to be the human captain he was the worst captain ever...i think.

I probably wouldn't mb slagstorm unless you are gonna run curse of stalked prey, as with prey they can easily get out of reach of the 3 damage.
