I was looking over Jund lists and I thought that Restorations Angels interactions with Huntmaster and Thragtusk. I'm wanting to take this to an FNM but I'd like a sideboard but, I'm not too familiar with what WGR has too offer. The list is testing well but some match ups are grindy and GW Aggro is really difficult.
I want to get into Magic but I don't want to spend a lot of money right away. I couldn't decide what to play and thought that using Exalted to pump inblockable creatures sounded funny. Catacombs excluded, I'd like to keep the deck under $30, for now.
Favorite Playstyle: Tempo, Midrange
How Competitive: The more competative the better, but as long as it does well at a FNM level I'm happy
Favorite Cards/Colors: I really like Green - they have all of the fluffy creatures. Gifts Ungiven is my favorite card.
Budget: $300-ish
Staples Owned: I have a Stanard Delver deck, and thats about it
If you want to use dig spells then I'd go UGb. Grisly Savage and Forbidden Alchemy will cover a lot of ground looking for missing combo pieces. In that case, I'd probably also play Increasing Confusion over Sands of Delerium; if you draw Confusion you'll win once you go infinate, and if it hits the grave along the way you still win once you go infinate.
Favorite Playstyle (Aggro, Midrange, Control, Combo): Tempo, Control, or Midrange
How Competitive (For Fun, Local Tournament, MTGO, PTQ/GP): Fun/Local
Favorite Cards/Colors: Gifts Ungiven and Green as color
Budget: 300-ish
Staples Owned: Not much. A playset of Snapcaster is all I can think of.
So I'm getting into Magic from YGO and I don't know what to play. In YGO I usually play anti-meta so I was thinking of a control build. The problem is that I don't really like blue cards and building a control deck without blue cards is awkward for me. Any suggestions?
