I see the thug more along the lines of a drudge skeleton... you just can't keep it dead without RFG'ing it, because even if they don't dredge it back, they can just flip it back on top of the library when it dies.
Actually by the aussie dollar I'd be able to get boxes for about $115 or $120, but IIRC wizards put a halt on any US online stores selling sealed product to customers outside the USA, which means I have to go through the australian stores, which means we have to pay all kinds of taxes and excises. Which is why the standard box price around here is about $192... $165 is considered cheap, which is why we preorder at that price (although now I have means to get them at that price any time)
yeah, but when booster boxes sell at this rate, it's still flooding a lot more money in to wizards. I personally am getting 3 booster boxes (I'd get more, but I can only afford 3, since they're $165 a piece here).

Well, the Excruciator could be useful in those neo-tooth decks people were building that needed plenty of big fatties to drop with a green myojin.... if you're dropping it for free, 8 mana cc's aren't a problem
I don't think affinity is THAT big a deal in extended post rotation, not bad enough to justify bannings, anyway... I mean we have what? Affinity, Goblins and U/G Madness in the super-fast category, with a lot of other decks not that far behind them... not to mention that maindecked pithing needles would shut down both madness and affinity.
