Hi I was hoping you could look at my deck based around Radiant, Archangel.
She was my first foil and i've had her since the very beginning and i'd like to make a deck focusing around the card abilities and this is what I came up with:
However it's not very competitive and it doesn't seem to do well vs anything, even when i've let others use it... so I was hoping I could find another way to make the most out of Radiant?
I play in a vintage non-proxy budget group, we have about 35 players and I run a tournament every week for us with prizes so it is competitive.
Hope you can help because i'm stumped (i'm a green/black/blue player normally so I have little experiance is white).
I don't mind if you mix with other mana, budget is $300
I think you're trying to do way too much without enough resources, no offense, but the lands need quite a bit of cleaning up. Max out on spectral processions, they're better than midnight hauntings. Remove the one-of lands that you have as well as the oboro's. If you're running brainstorm, ponder, and preordain, you probably want to run them as full playsets, although I would suggest against brainstorm and you don't any fetchlands. You might want to try snap instead of vapor snag. You're trying to accelerate into the creatures while maintaining card advantage, so the free bounce is much better than a life loss in the deck. Give Squadron Hawk a try as well.
EDIT:Cut the lotus petal and sol ring as well, they don't really have a place in the deck.
I'm a casual player that's looking for a relatively cheap white and gimmicky deck. I took a look at martyr-proc, but that seemed really expensive. I just like winning in very odd ways. If I could build it for around 30, perhaps around 50 if needed, that'd be great. However, please throw any suggestions that come up, regardless of price.
Are kavu and fire//ice really worth it though? Although weird is weaker in a sense, it deals damage to the player and is a stronger chump blocker, whereas you can't simply cast kavu if no creatures exist as it will nuke itself, and it can't deal damage to players either. As for fire//ice, The mana to damage ratio is much greater on firebolt, and I already have more than enough draw spells.
Since I use pauper decks for casual paper magic play, would using red sun's zenith as an alternate be viable? What are your views on rolling thunder and devil's play as well?
EDIT: I came up with a non-pauper list, tell me what you guys think
The thing is, Weird and Oracle are removal/drawing that come with a 1/3 blocker. If you're having trouble with Goblins, for example, that can be huge; I would switch Compulsive Research for Sea Gate in that case (not as good a draw spell, but blocks 2/2s or holds off 1/1s). If you're having problems with Delver/WW's fliers obviously this change doesn't help as much.
The thing is, I play paper pauper as casual decks with my friends, and they run kitchen table variants of elves and pure illusions. Illusions I don't have so much trouble with, but the elves really start to become a problem. I can take out early threats, but after he starts dropping archdruids and spamming nissa's chosens, I just flat out can't handle it. By the way, has anyone tried Delver of Secrets in 8-post?

What should I take out for these cards? And would you play fanning the flames or Volcanic Geyser?
I'm honestly not restricted, because it's a casual paper magic deck I use against friends, any other card suggestions you guys can make?

I've seen people run Steamcore Weird and Sea Gate Oracle, but I already have quite a bit a of removal and drawing. Any suggestions?
EDIT: Would running Delver of Secrets be viable with the large bulk of sorceries and instants?
