    Quote from AEIOUsometimesY
So I haven't seen it (probably won't), but I know there was all this effort put forth by Joss Whedon to make sure nothing about it was spoiled in the reviews...

But was there really anything more to it than being a Truman Show meets "The Architect from the Matrix" thriller? We were able to glean that much from the trailers, so I'm just curious if there was more to it that needed to be kept quiet.

So, so much more you can not even imagine. The trailer only shows the first act of the movie.

Don't think you've even begun to see any of the movie from the trailer, because you haven't.

  • posted a message on [ISD] Live Twitter Feed From PAX! Loads of New Cards!
    Quote from Dire Wombat
Okay, this is what I expected them to do, and, to me, is NOT the same thing as "the cards are double-sided."

The cards are single-sided, with a double-sided insert to go along with it and represent the card in play.

Man, I am getting so much excitement whiplash over this thing. I really wish they had revealed this mechanic in an article and not at this party, so we could get the whole story at once.

THE CARDS ARE DOUBLE-SIDED. IT'S BEEN SAID BY MULTIPLE PEOPLE ON WIZARDS OF THE COASTS' TWITTER ACCOUNTS, AND BY PEOPLE AT THE PARTY. STOP TRYING TO ARGUE THAT THEY ARE NOT DOUBLE SIDED.

Guys, this could just be a promo

Yeah man, the card that shows a new mechanic with a new frame as the pre-release card which is used to represent the set is only going to be a promo card and the set will have nothing to do with it. Rolleyes

Community is the best comedy on television, bar none.

The clip show episode literally almost killed me from inability to breathe because of how much I was laughing. It also didn't help that I didn't have the commercial breaks to take a breather.

And even the last episode was great, even though it was a bottle. It was touching, whilst hilarious at the same time.

you should read more and really look at the so called spoiler and tell me y wotc has said nothing about it. So tell me your logic of y its real im not looking for a fight but look at your logic befor quoteing mine.

Learn to spell, it makes you look like you can actually hold an argument.

WoTc said absolutely nothing about the Time Spiral playtest cards that Rancored_Elf leaked years ago until:
    a) They sued him (this will not be the case this time, or rather, we won't KNOW if they're being sued because they're not a regular rumor poster here).
    b) Maro wrote an article about it a year and a half later in an article explaining why it was such a big deal.

The leak is fake well thats what I belive and so I do care and ty for posting I forgot to look at the site today anyways =^.^=.

This update to the site confirms that your asinine belief that the leak is fake is no longer a belief that can be held (not that it should have been in the first place).

We only had the promo art for Surgical Extraction, now the normal art is here, and it's what was in the godbook.

  • posted a message on I wanna name my son Jace.
What the hell is wrong with some of you in this thread?
Jace is a perfectly legitimate name for a boy. I've met 3 Jaces in my life, all before Lorwyn came out, and I plan on naming my (hopeful) son Jace as well.

Just because you play Magic and there's a card named Jace doesn't mean it automatically becomes "nerdy" and "pathetic" you want to name your child it.

Now, naming your kid Yawgmoth on the other hand... (though I will say Urza is a pretty awesome name whilst still being extra nerdy...).

    Quote from CrovaxtheCursed
I'm on the fence about picking up a 3DS at launch. Correct me if I'm wrong, but we don't yet know the final list of games that will be available at launch, right? I'm going to reserve my decision until I see that list.

I don't think that Nintendo will repeat their release strategy of the DS with the 3DS, meaning that once release hits we probably won't see another version for at least a year.

In their press announcement today, they said there would be at least 30 games by June for the 3DS.

I, for one, am picking it up day one, and I have a very large feeling I will not regret it in the least.

  • posted a message on Worst Movie You've Seen: Ever
    Quote from Voila!
I can top all of you. I have seen the worst. I have seen the absolute worst. I used to be horrifically scarred by Borat (**** anyone who says otherwise; I do apologize, but that movie was atrocious in ways I can't even begin to describe), but I have seen something worse.

    Comparison:
I have seen something worse than Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever. I have seen something worse than Battlefield Earth. I have seen something worse than the Last Airbender. I have seen something worse than the Phantom Menace. I have seen something worse than Batman and Robin. I have seen something worse than Highlander 2. I have seen something worse than the Twilight series. I have seen something worse than Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen. I have seen something worse than North. I have seen something worse than the Troll movies. I have seen something worse than any of Eli Roth's works. I have seen something worse than any of Uwe Boll's works. I have even seen something more horrifically bad than Garbage Pail Kids.
    Reveal:
I want Seltzerberg dead and gone. No joke. Remove Karn from Mirrodin's core, have THOSE two anus holes be tortured into being alien despots instead. They are notorious for bad movies that are so bad Showgirls is Casablanca by comparison...but their worst one of all, one that goes so far beyond bad that even Meet the Spartans is a great work by comparison...which is no easy thing to say, BELIEVE me. It is the most appropriately-named movie conceivable, truly, because no other thing in existence could possibly be construed as more of an absolute. Disaster.

A bit dramatic. Also, Vampires Suck is leaps and bounds worse than Disaster Movie.

Some of you people have not watched many bad movies. Half of the movies listed in this thread are bad for certain reasons, but not for being the worst. For example, I can tell that someone has not seen any bad movies at all if they think Tron: Legacy is the worst movie they have ever seen. Fine. You don't like it. Don't be overdramatic. There is much, much, much worse out there.

Another will put on the list that should be canned is ICarly. I suprised Nick keeps running this bad show, it not funny to me at all and trys to be like a show Disney would make.

This is a shock to me. iCarly is consistently funny, including elements for both children and older people alike to laugh at. There are so many jokes that will go right over a kid's head, but will be perfect for someone older. Sure, it has a bit of a stich because it IS a kid's show, but, it's very well written.

Thats just like, your opinion man.

It's not. At all. If you can not see a difference, there is something wrong with your eyes.

Even in the screencaps I posted before, viewed on a non-HD monitor of a computer, there is an EXTREME difference in the third shot I posted (from Twilight Zone Season 1), and if you can not see the quality difference, you need to have your eyesight checked.

edit- Or, as stated above, you have say a 480p HD TV, which isn't really even HD at all.
