Could we get some FNM/other reports from people who are trying Wescoe's list please?
I played the deck at gp amsterdam. I failed to make day 2. I struggled against mardu going 0-2. I can't recall where I picked up my 3rd loss (very well could've been mardu). then flooded out game 3 Against zombies in round 9. The deck felt fine, I was on the wrong side of variance in those mardu matches, mulliganing quite a bit. I played wescoe's list but swapped up the board to what patbou did.

I feel ballistas woulda been better against mardu. I do podcast that I'll be going over the deck once I get back stateside. If you're interested it's red deck podcast. @reddeckwinning on Facebook. Town gossipmongers is a red card
Myself and fellow red Mage John Galli and run a website and podcast about all things Red Cards. Some of you may have seen us before occasionally on Reddit posting about our articles and shows, and we're back on here because we have a big announcement. We're going to be doing some hefty giveaways as well as having a special guest on the cast. Lee Marino, the winner of the WMCQ in Lincoln, Nebraska will be joining us to talk about his victory with Burn. If you like Red cards, or just competitive Magic in general, this will be one not to miss. If you're not into mountains feel free to like/follow us anyways for free stuff

I saw Tyler lost to scapeshift in the top 8. In my experience I've either crushed the match up or gotten crushed. Being able to close the game out fast enough against scapeshift is the main the problem I've found with that match up.
With the right the sideboard, twin isn't that bad of a match up.
I agree with what you said about having dedicated artifact hate against affinity but it's still nice to have options in the board. I always found myself bringing in 1 or 2 copies of vandalblast or shattering spree against various decks like scapeshift, b/g/x, twin or pod. pretty much any deck that would bring batterskull against us (which is pretty much every deck).
I think the demigod of revenge lists that have been popping up on MODO are pretty good. I was a bit hesitant at first but cutting the spirit guides seems like a step in the right the direction. Since the release of khans and people finally wising up to blood moon, accelerating a blood moon out isn't as good as it was before.
It looks like room could be made for some land destruction.
For sure, I'll try to type something up when I get a chance.
@Valanarch
on tmaw or stormbreath, I believe both have their merits. I've played with both and I prefer tmaw. 5/5 is a big difference over a 4/4. Pro white is nothing to scoff at either but I think the size and ability to shoot things out of the skies like birds, spirits and even faeries is makes puts tmaw on top for me. But I wouldn't fault anyone for running stormbreath.
I've only battled with the deck a couple of times after I made a fairly decent run at GP Richmond. After some cash finishes at random events I put the deck down for awhile to grind with other decks. I still can't find a deck I really like in this format, don't get me wrong I believe that this deck is good and totally capable of spiking a tournament but I've found that it's extremely meta dependent. I decided to sleeve up the deck for a PTQ this past weekend and I figured I'd share some thoughts about the deck. It has great match ups with the tier 1 decks but I've found that it's hit or miss against the tier 1.5 or 2 decks. If you're expecting the meta to be filled with pod, affinity, zoo, rock/x or even twin and you're looking for a deck that has plan against these decks. I think that it's a great choice for a GP or a PTQ.
Like most modern events, going into this weekend I still couldn't settle on a deck to play so I figured I'd play a deck I know and a deck that has plan. That's all I could really ask for in a deck, a deck that has a plan against a proven field. I'll say right now that I didn't win the PTQ or even top'd 8 but the deck once again proved that it has the power to run with the top decks in the format.
I finished out the day 7-2, good enough for 11th place and a handful of cash.
It would seem that I shouldn't lose to scapeshift especially with a resolved blood moon but batterskull is a beating and I couldn't draw any gas. Both scapeshift opponents managed to resolve a sakura tribe elder or a search for tomorrow before I was able to fire off a blood moon but sometimes thems the breaks.
The deck felt super good and the only real change I'd make is to swap eidolon with some other creature. I found myself boarding eidolon in a lot just to have something to apply pressure by bringing the beats. I'm not sure what to fill the slot with, maybe prophetic flamespeaker. Just a thought. Red Sun's Zenith was surprisingly good all day. It kills a creature early or can close a game out late and that exile clause is no joke.
A little late to the party but I just wanted to chime in that I made day 2 with skred at GP Richmond.
Incase some of you didn't see it in the Wizards coverage, I got a deck tech. (I thought I was getting matched lossed or something when they called me to the main stage :/ ) Here's the link with hilarious picture included http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/eventcoverage/gprich14/day2#5
The list I played was a bit of a mash up of the modo lists and Durwurd's input. The deck is pretty soft to combo, especially twin, storm and the rise of ad nauseam.
The main changes to the deck were the addition of chalice of the void and dismember to the board. You can mess around with the numbers pending on what you're expecting more of but I must emphasize that twin, storm and ad naus are abysmal match ups. Chalice does have some solid uses outside of combo such as zoo, affinity (0 and 2) and burn just to name a few.
When it comes to which dragon to play I believe both are good options. Of course certain situations can occur where one dragon can be better than the other but I never found myself wanting stormbreath. I lean towards favoring thundermaw moreso since it has a faster clock and some utility against creatures like birds of paradise and lingering souls. I wouldn't fault anyone for playing stormbreath as both have their merits.
Another thing that I would like to address is the use of simian spirit guide and mind stone/coldsteel heart. Simply put, accelerating out powerful threats such as a planeswalker, blood moon or even a dragon is extremely relevant in the current meta. I prefer the option of the mind stone cantrip over the fixing coldsteel heart can provide but either one is fine.
I've had a number of people ask me about the deck and they've all had success with the changes made to the board.
this list is super rad. i'm not sure how my play group feels about hexproof, what are your thoughts on nemesis of mortals as another option? i might be biased but i think that card is way dope.
I had ashnod's altar in the list, but I think I shaved a bunch of cards to get it to 100. It seems pretty good in the deck. If you have any revisions, post em! I'd love to see what direction you would have taken.
Bear with me here. A few months back I saw an entertaining post by Hunding Gjornersen about messing around with a monored storm deck. I was intrigued with the idea and started thinking. By no means do I think this list is solid but I think it's a good starting point and with some help it could be good enough.
I think they all have potential and could easily swap out for any of em. The reason why I like imperial recruiter is well...it tutors for pretty much every creature in our deck.
The idea is simple, set up a big turn and kill someone with a kiln fiend, giant fireball or a mass of goblin tokens and goblin bushwhacker.

What's your updated list? Could you share a sideboarding guide? I'm looking to sleeve this up for the euro GP
