Does mutavault die if its toughness drops to zero as a creature? My friends insist it simply becomes a land again.
Second when mutavault is a creature (and a land) it can't be targeted by oblivion ring right?

Running 18 mana with with a mana curve of 2.5 (educated guess) seems a bit low. I would add a few lands or gemhide sliver . With 18 mana you are bound to miss a turn 3 or turn 4 land that you will need for you 3 drop creatures and those 1 drop instant spells. Its a sad situation when youre choosing between a creature or a kill card on an oponents turn.
I would be weary of crystaline sliver and your swords. You cant equip when crystaline sliver is in play.
Edit. Scratch that. Thats not an artifact. my bad. Thats a great card though.
i am wondering how well deputy of acquittal will work with snapcaster mage??? double blocking, using snapcaster twice. both have flash. they seem good together
wow, just realized skirsdag is a morbid keyword. I need more sac options. 3 lands for sacing is not enough. waiting on my opponent to kill something is not so great.

i think that both of these in 1 deck is to much due to sacrificing so many awesome cards for 1 awesome card. there is a card that can benefit both of these into 1 solid deck. skirsdag high priest can replace dark supplicant and scion of darkness with a tap cost instead of a sacrifice cost for a demon of similar quality while still being a turn 3 power house as the previous combo is. that frees up 2 or 3 slots for hand hate (a must in a heavy creature deck that runs black) by removing multiples of scion of darkness from the deck. like anyone really plans on casting 8 drops in a weenie aggro deck...
some other strong cards that fit in this idea is:
Creatures- mother of runes = W drop, taps to give protection! high priest of penance = BW drop, destroy non land when it dies! order of the stars = W drop, defender with protection! edgewalker = 1BW drop, free 1 drops!!! doubtless one = 3W drop, win con alt to skirsdag high priest!!!
spells- duress = B drop, hand hate for artifiacts, enchantments, instant, sorcery castigate = WB drop, hand hate for all nonland cards harsh mercy = 2W drop, clears board while not killing your creatures!(except for demons) profane prayers = 2BB drop, steal life equal to your clerics possible 5 life gain/loss on turn 4
all this said, please give me ideas. this is a fun project my goal is to keep the deck under 100 bucks. my duel and is fetid heath perfect mana fixer for a mana curve of 2.18!

No budget restriction. I don't play competitive. However, me and my group I play with dump rediculous amounts of money on this game just to be the reigning champion in-between our dnd games. Its very cut throat. My worst enemy runs merfolk aggro. I hate force of will so much. Thinking about adding surgical extraction but I still have to cast it! Ugh!
I'm working on a land recursion/mana ramp deck. I quickly found that graveyard hate is my worst enemy. I quickly jumped to blue. After looking into black as an alt. Option I found hand hate would be as good if not better. I've been looking around and found a few. I really liked cabal therapy but sacing creatures is something id like to avoid. Any good alternitive y'all can think of would be great! Here's my current list if it helps
this is what I run. major Turbo land with creatures that reap rewards for it. I also have a neat land toolbox for lots of fun effects. I have annul right now as my answer to rest in peace but its limited. I like more robust cards. thanks for the advice so far!
I'm desperately looking for ways to save my graveyard from rest in peace this card its killing my deck. Getting rid of it is easy, I need to stop its ETB effect. I could counter it but I'm not running as much blue in this deck as I would like for counters. Any ideas?

i run a deck with a time spiral theme so there are a lot of spore counters using cards like, deathspore thallid, sporesower thallid, and Sporoloth Ancient.
i never play with it. ive tried many different lands but it didnt matter. the guys were just to slow and expensive to pull off. hope yours is better that what i was able to come up with
