Part one of an EDH commission, the next 4 from this set will have some more Sonic characters. This has Eternal Witness as Cranky Kong, Knuckles as Tariel, Robotnik as Fiend of Shadows, and Luigi as Thada Adel.
I have another commission to do, but while I was waiting for the cards to arrive I was able to work on this non-commissioned piece over the weekend. I've always thought that the Emperor/Vader relationship was the perfect example of "Demonic Tutor," so I was glad to finally be able to paint this.

My latest commission, a set of Lightning Bolts with art from Batman: The Animated Series. I had a heck of a time getting the eyes on, took several tries even with a toothpick. Sooo miniscule!

Can anyone who uses permanent pens on their alters suggest some to me that can be ordered online? I'm looking for .1mm and .3mm, permanent ones that won't dissolve in water. I found a few, but they are brands I haven't used before and shipping was outrageous (8 dollars to ship a pen?!)
@GameFreak Your stuff shows promise, but why do you always photograph at such a shallow angle? I can't help but think you're trying to disguise imperfections. Show us the cards!
I can't figure out how to take head on shots without getting a ton of glare on them, so I do an angle to try to give an accurate representation of the card. When I take head on shots (for example, my recent Mewtwo Demonic Tutor) it is in low lighting situations and it looks pretty dim. I think photos are more indicative of what a card looks like than a scan TBH. Scans are 2d representations of a 3d object (even if it's a thin 3d object), so they tend to disguise imperfections more than a photo would.

Here is a playset of Hymn to Tourach with Marvel villains on them. Instead of his normal Infinity Gems, Thanos is holding up the mana color symbols from the back of the card. I guess you could also say the Cosmic Cube that Red Skull is holding is actually a cube for drafting... ::crickets::
Galactus and Doom are there too...always loved the original Kirby design of Galactus!
Those Jason Chan alters are so baller, I love when an artist alters his own cards. Was it expensive to get him to do that?
Here's what I've been working on lately, just another set of Delvers. Somehow, they took longer doing a second time around which doesn't make much sense. Anyway, I mainly took this pic to experiment with some fun new camera filters.

Pretty happy with how this turned out, especially the border effect. The image source is, of course, the exquisite watercolor painting done by Ken Sugimori for the original 151 Pokemon official character art.
Finished up the rest of a commission, including a pic of his whole set of stuff in the same shot (I'm guessing it is all going to go into the same deck).
Sources for the five new cards come from Futurama screencaps from my season 1-4 DVD set. Specifically, the Popplers episode, the Penguin hunting episode, the Moon episode, and Zoidberg mating.
I did another Delver set, and I'm quite happy with some of the shading techniques employed to stay true to the source material. The reflection of Frieza's helmet for example, or the inking on the flipped Frieza and flipped Vegeta...I'm really pleased. I'm beginning to think Delver sets might not be the greatest idea though, because in everyone's mind it feels like "only four cards" when it is actually eight cards worth of work. Oh well!
Source images are direct screencaps from the show itself (taken by me), and a few references from the Score DBZ CCG (specifically, Kid Buu Saga Broly Level 4, Frieza's Anger Blast, Frieza the Master, Movie Promo Broly level 1, and Orange Focused Attack).
I finished all the commissions that were on my plate, so I had time to finally complete a card I've envisioned for a long time. My eyes are strained and my fingers are cramped from all the little details, but this was worth it. I worked on this off and on for about 30 total hours, oy.
The pictures are a bit unflattering I think. Looking at it in person, the details on it are really quite nice.
