Feb 4, 2014Druki posted a message on Launch Giveaway!Spirit of the Night. When I was starting out, I loved big big creatures but black was my go-to color. This ended up with me doing some sort of shenanigan to get them out a little bit quicker, like playing multiple rituals out or reanimating them. While cards like Avatar of Woe or Scion of Darkness are some of my faves, Spirit is my favorite. If anything, it just has a weird but creepy/cool art.Posted in: Announcements

Edit: Ah, it's the original Time Spiral's prerelease art. Neat.
Elephant itself isn't bad.
Not that anyone asked or noticed yet, but there was an Elesh Norn card that's been debunked. The person also quoted the tweet with Vorinclex, which may have also been debunked (only Elesh Norn is in their artist gallery).
About the same time you may be able to play games in person again (hopefully)
I was not sold on this one until now

I would imagine they are his works, and they paid his estate or whoever owns his works. I can't imagine the implications of having him as the artist credit when its someone else's work, even if it is in his style.
This is a good point, and I'd really like Damnation if it were in an old border. idk if they will, but you're probably right in that it'll be reprinted.
What if Box of Rocks had actual rocks for their art?
I kind of hope these are real, I'd like to pick up a Damnation for a bit cheaper than it currently is (Secret Lair or otherwise). A box of rocks is lolz
Ajani 2012
This seems like a good buy. Most/all of these are commonly used in commander.
It can be an auto-lose if someone is using Phage.
