So I'm only asking this because its in my pod and I'm interested in building a Daxos deck, but how would this type of deck deal with red Akroma? Might want to run something like Nevermore as a precaution.
Personal opinion: I doubt we'll see a GW or enchantment based planeswalker this block. An enchantment planeswalker would be someone who calls Theros home (in my opinion) and I would think they'd use a native walker who's closer to a Spartan/warrior champion. Probably plays a lot like Gideon 1.0.
Anyways, I could be right off. A GW walker should focus on making a token army, and Selesnya would love them right now.
I don't think we'll see the core set titans, but we might see other ones. And I'd be fine with that. Clash of the Titans was one of my favorite movies as a kid and seeing more of them would be cool.
Throwing some baseless speculation out there, but as Modern Masters is a full sized set occupying the spring/summer product spot, it's possible we'll see Un3 in that spot in the future. Maybe not next year, but perhaps the year after that.
It seems to me that, flavor-wise, you'd need the 10 different gates for the win-con. Is there a possible way to word that without running out of text space?
Idk, I like the idea behind it, that Ravnica has this super hidden thing hidden by the maze, that once you control it you win. But its just so hard to pull off, moreso without nonbasic land fetches (yet). And adding all the gates plus the mythic just messes with your mana so much, I'm not sure what you'll want the rest of the deck to do.
To dispel all uncertainties here rules-wise, for each creature with extort you controlled, every time you cast a spell, the extort triggered ability would trigger for each one, and you'd have to pay one mana for each one.
That's really cool.
In an Extort deck, essentially your Murder/O. Rings/Wraths can double into Drain Life's if you have nothing better to do.
I wouldn't be surprised if the battalion ability changes with different creatures. I'm sure there's an uncommon that grants protection (on attack--which is an important distinction) and I'm sure there's a common that prevents an opposing creature from blocking.

-vigilance
-token making ability
I'm sure there's more that can potentially happen on other cards.
In regards to the card and the ability, I like it. Innistrad had a RW Human theme going on towards the end and I'm sure Boros will finish whatever deck will change that archetype. Lightning Helix is always good and can combo with Lifelink, Infect, Curiosity, or other abilities. Just gotta hope that the angel isn't taken out before the swing.
Spirit of the Night. When I was starting out, I loved big big creatures but black was my go-to color. This ended up with me doing some sort of shenanigan to get them out a little bit quicker, like playing multiple rituals out or reanimating them. While cards like Avatar of Woe or Scion of Darkness are some of my faves, Spirit is my favorite. If anything, it just has a weird but creepy/cool art.
Seems like a weird card otherwise, though.
About what time did the original online batch go on sale? And how quickly did it sell out?

Question: With the way Extort is worded, it seems like the cost can be paid for each permanent with Extort you control. True/false?
Because having your spells double as a opponent-wide Drain Life is pretty cool.
