Quote from bLatchI read it as a snarky "why would you even expect to be able to support a family grinding MTGO?"
A sentiment I have to say I agree with. Wizards is under no obligation to ensure that you can continue supporting your family by grinding on MTGO.
Quote from BlippyTheSlugI'm self employed. Have been for decades. At the current time, a chunk on my income is MTGO related. Be it articles, running events, skullduggery, whatever. I worked hard to make it that way.
Is it my only income? No.
Chances are, you're in the USA. You're not living in some second or third world country, where $8 buys you luxury living. "Honest jobs" have always paid squat. Moreso in less developed countries. It's like looking at the starving Ethiopians and saying "they can just go to McDonalds". It doesn't really apply.
Quote from PsychobabbleInstead of trying to stir up a storm by paraphrasing or inaccurately summarising, link or paste in the full discussion (I cant, on phone). I totally don't read it as a burn by lsv but others might read diff.
