So we have a number articles that are strictly about the MTG Salvation forums - its users, its subforums, forum awards, history, etc.
I don't think these belong on the Wiki.
Like I said on this talk page, I think the Wiki should be distanced from the MTGS Forums, and not feature any articles beyond the basics, like MTG Salvation. Other articles generally do not feel like relevant encyclopedic content to me. And I say this as someone with strong ties with this site and its history; I'd personally find some of these articles to be interesting, but objectively, they don't belong. They feel out of place. Not only that; they were for the most part created and maintained by Magic Mage and other early-day Wiki editors, and are therefore very much outdated. Some haven't been updated since 2007 or earlier.
As such, I'm moving to get rid of them. Examples of such articles that I think should be scrapped:
I think a month after now would be the right moment to remove the articles. If people are interested in the content, they either can save it elsewhere or may propose another way of action. If they are not interested, they won't notice the articles are gone.
I would like to add 3-Card Blind and 4-Card Blind to the list of articles which are heavily influence by the forum especially the 4-card blind contains almost exclusively information regarding winners of forum contests etc.
While I think that these articles have a place, they need a clean up an this is a good opportunity to do so.

Well we can put a big link on the footer of the main page saying something like "General discussion about happen in the forum: Join in!"
The forum then automatically double as announcements. We don't have to update the main page it is clear if you want to know what is up with the general state of the wiki look in the forum.

About a month late, but this has now been taken care of. Most articles that were MTGS forums-related have been deleted. There may be some left here and there (those without the correct category, if any), but they can be hit if we find any.

1. Any objections to this?
2. If not, how long should we give people who may care about this information to save it?
