I voted for Craven and Spanglegluppet. Pretty good punchline you've stolen there Craven, and overall the coolest banner. I just wonder, what is the guy with the sunglasses doing in there? I debated wether to vote for Spanglegluppet or Blurrycloud's. In the end Blurry's banner looks very pretty, but it looks like more work went into Spangle's. Flappy also gets an honorary mention. Meh, two votes just wasn't enough this week I feel.
Mine go to Charlie and Flappy, because I fear their sigs will eat me if I don't. That, and I reckon they look the best. The amount of work that (I think) must have gone into the dude looks amazing...and the final result for both is brilliant. Well pulled off.

But, If I had two pick two, take one vote off flappy.
Why do we all have two votes all of a sudden? I'm missing out on votes just because people think mine is third best.
Anyway, my vote goes to Craven, for extreme coolness. I don't find the other entries interesting. Especially not the two winning ones of Forgotten_Hope (nice pun, but not a nice banner) and especially blurrycloud (Shining Shoal render... that's all).
There have been contests where I'd love to make five votes because of many great entries. This time I can't find a banner worth any second vote.
If for that reason my vote doesn't count, you can add another vote to Craven. I hope he wins, for being cool instead of an average shopkeeper.
Vin Diesel ftw.
I think spangles is the nicest this week. I liked yours, flappy. But its too much like all the other ones. Forgotten hopes has nice grunge in the background... it is just excecuted very poorly.
Blurrys, as I have stated, looks the same as all of his banners. :/
Mine I feel proud of, becuase selecting around those edges to change the color was NOT simple. also, the text was hard to do, but fun
"If I do go to heaven, I'll smack god across the face and tell him to get me a grilled-cheeses sandwhich and then say 'Yea what now god!? Say some'in! I dare you!' "
It looks like your banner consists of "just" a few layers. The fish on top of the border + text on top of the rest of the image on top of the transparent background. In other words, even though I really like the result, it looks like something I could do. Spangle's banner on the other hand is much more complex and consists of more puzzle pieces. To me he did great work picking out the exact pieces of art that fit together in color, and so, even though the end result is busier than yours, and though we could argue about the font of choice and the way the mana symbols are obscuring part of the art, I voted for him.
Don't hate me, next time I might vote for you (as I did last week, the week before that, and the week before the week before the week before the week before that).
@Craven: I see, that's a movie I haven't seen
Edit: "Watzafied" my post - I really don't mean to pick an argument, just explaining what I'm thinking. Of course my line of thought might be completely off. Then again, I never said it wasn't
Well, the idea behind the two-votes thing was to have the number of votes each person gets correspond to how many entries there are. It makes sense to have one vote if there are three or four entries, and three if there are twelve; shouldn't there be something in-between? Well, anyway, that's what DB and I thought. I guess it's not really working out, though :p.

Great job this week, guys!
..keep your mind open enough and someone is going to throw some crap in..
..cause i'm sick of being treated like i have before
like it's stupid standing for what i'm standing for..
..it's not faith if you're using your eyes..

My votes go to blurrycloud for elegance of execution and Craven for the wonderful pun and nice imagery.

Same as in all the 6 image smashed up sigs i've been seeing a few months ago?
Why do you need to select around the edges? Just put the a red layer on top.
Hehe ^_^;. I was never good with Stock.

I would say the whole background image is probably an abstract wallpaper image created by someone else.
But thats still a guess.
What are you talking about?
Same as in all one art, all the same effect on basically every single one.
