I only voted for 2, as only 2 really stood out for me.
Charlie Donaldson blurrycloud
I loved the theme behind Charlie's with the "Something borrowed, something blue"...also, it's lyrics from one of my favourite bands
Blurrycloud's has awesome blending, and although being a bit critical about the images used, after it was all sorted out, it really does look amazing. Good job, blurry.
People have been ignoring the rules changed . Because this is the first week people aren't allowed to vote for themselves, entries won't be disqualified, but all votes for one's own entry will not be counted. The voters will not be allowed to recast those votes. This means that one vote will be detracted from the following entries:
Craven
Feuerdrache
Exalted
@Exalted: Heh, sorry ^_^;. I'd fix it, but I can't edit the poll and if I just edited the post people would be confused. If you win, the name will be right in the Hall of Fame.
By the by, my votes went to Watza, faust, and Krashbot01. There were a lot of entries I liked this time, though. Good job, everyone.
Wow... This puzzles me
I got no votes two previous weeks, yet I loved my submissions. Now I think my submission is clearly the worst and I've got 3 votes!

Maybe we should hate our entries more often? I'm getting more votes than I think I should...that is so wierd. It's a conspiracy, I tell you! *shifty look*
"Hello! I've come to serenade you. I can't play guitar. I can't play this accordion either, but I thought it'd be less obvious."
Dylan Moran, Black Books
I must be the exception. i was dissapointed with my own,
and everyone seems to agree :-P
Au contraire, I liked yours a lot. The non-magic art gave it a very cool effect. If you anti-aliased your text and got rid of all the words but the center phrase, I might very well have voted for it.

It seems though as if most voters either ignore the "round criterias" and only vote for those banners that artistically are the best (and I admit, I did that myself with my votes), or that they disagree with you...
The round criteria aren't meant so much as additional voting criteria as a general theme that the artists should stick to. What I mean is that the idea isn't that you should vote for the one that best combines adherence to the theme and artistic talent. Of course, it's your vote, so you can vote that way if you want.

If someone doesn't abide by the theme, I won't vote for it though. It isn't there for nothing.
If an entry doesn't abide by the theme, it'll be disqualified.
Fair enough, that works for me
...
That still doesn't mean I can't disagree on what abides by the theme though
...
Anyway, I was just referring to your "What I mean is that the idea isn't that you should vote for the one that best combines adherence to the theme and artistic talent", whereas I thought adherence to the theme was kinda important. Obviously you do as well, judging by your reply
