So while MUD is still very prevalent, Monastery makes up a relatively high percentage of the format. I doubt Wizards is about to restrict Mentor itself, but I would not be surprised if they restricted (at least) one of Gush or Preordain. Thoughts?
In regards to MUD, if Wizards still feels it needs nerfing, which is possible, maybe a Sphere effect, to lower the most common number from 8 to 5? I feel an anti-MUD restriction is rather unlikely at the moment, though.
Personally, I'd not be sad to see Gush go, again. Preordain would be a consistency question... I don't think it's nearly as format-warping as Brainstorm was.
I could see Gitaxian Probe restricted. I don't think Ponder needs to be restricted, honestly: It costs mana. That's not just a flippant answer, the best thing about it are it's options.
Gush is completely on the block, though. I'm kind of indifferent to the card itself, but it's is the best choice for a restriction, in my opinion.
Gush and Probe get the hammer. Probe surprises me a bit but I can see the logic behind it. I think Shops are a bit more prevalent then Mentor but I can't necessarily recommend banning anything out of shops. This helps Eldrazi decks too.
